Yes.

I’m not against any medical product or advancement that betters our health and improves our standard of living.

But vaccines are a sacred cow in medical parlance. They shouldn’t be.

Vaccine manufacturers right now have absolutely zero incentive to place safety before profit.

Vaccines should be non-profit. They also need their indemnity shield dropped which should never have been given in the first place. Once the shield is dropped you will find 95% of the vaccines will be off the market as they aren't safe.

I'm glad Dr. Phelps was able to share her story. It seems like there is not much evidence of a heavy handed effort to silence and deregister any doctor that dared to share concerns about COVID vaccines. I'm sure there was pressure from the majority of doctors that believed in the danger of COVID and the benefits of the vaccine and were concerned about giving ammo to anti-vaxxers, and there were efforts to tackle misinformation that I'm sure were overzealous at times due to the high stakes of the situation. Misinformation was killing people in a much more direct and obvious way than usual. Medical boards have always had to find a balance of ensuring practices are evidence based while allowing for clinical judgement in individual cases, this is to protect patients from harm as much as anything else. Still, it's not like contrarian opinions were difficult to find.

For what it's worth I think there is a much more obvious case of political overreach into medical care inlcuding doctors being threatened with jail time in the case of US states banning gender-affirming care for youth. This goes against the evidence base and to the protestations of the

American Academy of Pediatrics, the Academic Pediatric Association, the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, the Association of American Medical Colleges, the American Academy of Family Physicians

and 18 other professional medical and mental health organisations in America.

Regardless of your opinions on trans people, do you support doctors being threatened with jail time if they practice according to their clinical judgement in this instance? Do you feel politicians should be making medical decisions? Or do you feel there is a level of harm (from your perspective) where doctors opinions and ability to provide medical care according to their clinical judgement should be silenced, threatened, outlawed?

Russia is protecting their border which they have every right to do.
