Where's the proof Bicks that these Greenies are preventing governments to do prescribed burns?

Once again you have made a statement with absolutely nothing to back it up.

Show me the proof & I'll apologise for claiming you are making up fake news again.

Well to be fair, there would be environmental groups who argue habitat destruction and even though I have no proof it probably does restrict burning. Driving through the Adelaide Hills now is scary. There are so many houses now on one way streets that go off other one way streets that its a disaster waiting to happen. But theres no fire prep. Burning seems to only take place in more rural settings.

Gavin Newscum wouldn't lie.

I don’t know who he is at all and I understand the pressure of the situation. But he could easily have said ‘I’m trying to get through to the president right now’. To claim he was literally on the phone with him at the time speaks volumes as to his level of innate honesty.

Governor of California and a favourite for Dems nominee in next election.
Always a slick talker but it may be catching up with him this time. The affected areas are deep blue voter wise, and I suspect people may turn on him.

The fires were most probably arson but when officials have prioritised DEI over safety of the community they need to go.
They had warnings of high winds but were not prepared and failed with lack of resources in place.

No surprise with a conviction with no penalty & Trump showed no remorse...

It’s more in your face but it’s not too different to grant stevens moaning about his workforce having to deploy their equipment and training. Blaming other areas, ‘something needs to be done, my staff are having to do their job’. Whiney biatch never comments on lenient sentencing until it’s one of his crew that was on the other end of a crime. Self serving tosser.

A city dweller like lefty Kano doesn't have a clue what goes on in rural regions, maybe if he was to talk to some of the rural CFA volunteers (I do) he'd get a clearer picture, and to make it worse the hoops the CFA volunteers have to jump through to get the go ahead with hazard burns from above.

You’re refuting an argument I’m not making, and never have made, because you can’t refute the actual argument.

To recap:

  1. Doctors discovered early on that some of their patients got better after prescribing this drug (and others) off-label. This is not some big controversy, some people respond to treatments without significant clinical evidence. This is why doctors are able to prescribe things off-label.
  2. A weapons-grade propaganda campaign by the media and the medical bureaucracy ensued to denigrate the drug (horse paste etc). This was obviously nefarious and completely unnecessary (unless you were Pfizer or AZ, then it was very necessary).
  3. The TGA banned the off label prescription of the drug. You have denied this. But it is a fact.

All of this occurred for one reason and one reason only: to protect Pfizer, Moderna and AZ. There was no money to be made from off-label treatments of Covid. There were billions to be made from the heart-attack jabs.

In order to deny this is what occurred, you not only have to deny reality, but you have to defend some of the world’s most despicable creatures. Useless, pathetic politicians and bureaucrats like Brad Hazzard and Brett Sutton, and pharmaceutical megacorporations like Pfizer who made tens of billions of dollars from those jabs and never have to pay a cent for injuring and killing people.

Do pharameutical giants sometimes come up with great products that help people get better? Sure.

Should those products be mandated on people, monopolized at the expense of all other possible treatments, and given carte blanche legal immunity against injuring and killing people?

Fu*k no. Never in a million years.

This is obviously a fact, and because of your very weird compulsion to defend the world’s worst people you can’t admit it.

Sad.

It wasn’t until well into the rampant transmission phase (despite 90%+ vax rate) that we were even told by our health experts how best to deal with symptoms if you have covid. Paracetamol, rest and hydration. Try and find any official advice from any health dept in Oz prior to hitting the vax rate and the virus going through the population like wildfire.

Hard to maintain the fear of imminent death when you’re simultaneously telling people they just need to take a bex and lie down.

ADL is a lifetime public servant, and worse, in health. Process over outcome, they know no other way.

I get where you are coming from but the biggest problem is budget cuts. In the case of LA it appears consistent budget cuts and neglect of the fire departments have played a major role. Most states tend to develop cultures of neglect towards something and they do it because no problems arose so they use that as an excuse to commit further budget cuts. Which seems absolutely criminal considering California has wild fires more often than Australia does.

Heads will role. Newsom at this point probably should just step down before he gets turfed out. His government looks to have severely cut the legs out of the LA Firefighting service. No doubt gambling with the odds of major fires happening on his watch.
It’s still funny how the GOP, the party of minimal government and no socialism, are acting outraged by this though. I mean they plan to decimate everything once Trump is in.

Its likely the fire department had been subject to consistent cutbacks for more than a decade. Things like what is being stated, dont just happen in 5 years. But Newsom screwed up by ignoring problems created by previous cutbacks from the previous government and his own government committing its own cutbacks contributing to the cluster****. Its like our electricity problem. Each government made cutbacks, each government ignores the problem and well now its reaching cluster **** levels.

Going on five years of this garbage. Let it go. You’re not being persecuted Pete, stop playing the victim.

Ivermectin doesn’t work as a COVID treatment. End of. It has been studied and found to provide no benefit, and does not have a biologically plausible mechanism for this purpose. Any clinical improvement in COVID patients using it was coincidental, not causative.

Worse than that, it was being taken in doses that were causing harm (including people being hospitalised), and exhausting our limited supplies of this important medication and creating shortages for the people who actually needed it (including remote Indigenous communities).

The TGA subsequently restricted off label prescribing, they didn’t ban it outright. That means Australians could still access ivermectin for the treatment of COVID but this had to be through a specialist who knows what they’re doing. There are countless examples of other drugs that you can only access through a specialist or accredited GP, or drugs that have constrained criteria for prescribing. Are we being persecuted by these restrictions too?

The ‘weapons grade’ propaganda campaign against ivermectin was to strongly advise consumers and the medical community that it is not effective or safe as a treatment for COVID (which it isn't). Are you suggesting our medicines regulators and expert medical advisory bodies should have lied?

This assessment was supported by the manufacturers of the drug, Merck (the one entity that stands to make a significant profit out of it), who have never sought to market it as a COVID treatment.

In fact, the only people who have ever sought to promote it as a COVID treatment are:
  • pathological liars and narcissists obsessed with the idea of their solution being the one that saves the world and ends the pandemic, and
  • the anti-establishment/anti-science crowd who are threatened by people smarter than them and view the rejection of decades of cumulative scientific knowledge and progress as their end goal in and of itself. Actually improving outcomes for people is a distant secondary objective, if at all. Ooh, how edgy.

Fortunately, there are effective antiviral medications for COVID (a virus), in addition to steroids etc which are widely available and have been used routinely for people with severe illness since very early on in the pandemic, making this obsession with ivermectin (an antiparasitic medication) as though we’re stranded with no other options laughable.

Ro Roo, DEI is the first casuality
I suspect a circular firing squad of corruption has started happening. They will all turn on each other.
Newscum has requested an investigation into why the fire hydrants were dry. Has he a mirror.

Surely she must resign?

This should work out well

"Britain's economy will benefit from a £600million boost thanks to the Labour Government's latest deal with China, the Treasury claims.

Chancellor Rachel Reeves is touting the 2025 UK-China Economic and Financial Dialogue (EFD) agreement following her trip to Beijing this weekend."

Has Trump or Musk offered any assistance to California while people are losing their homes right now, or is he just doing his usual divisive disinformation to gain points?
What a waste of energy for Newsom to deal with setting records straight in the middle of dealing with a catastrophic crisis?
I note Taylor Swift has donated millions to help already.

Are you serious with this? Your TDS is getting worse. Have you not read in your China Daily. People's Daily or Global Times that Genocide Joe is still President.
Why would Trump help Newscum salvage any of his already toxic reputation at this stage.

I believe all Republican Governors have already offered help in some kind to contain the fires. Trump has no power until the 20th.

Newscum Priority.
