You think this an argument about the efficacy of Ivermectin. It isn’t. I couldn’t care less about it. Some doctors said they had success with it and I personally believe those doctors should’ve been allowed to continue that. That’s not a controversial take, it’s the common sense take.

The actual argument is that everything that happened after March 2020 served to groom, scare and coerce the population into taking experimental junk and extracting astronomical levels of profit from that experimental junk.

Trump will not be running for President in 2024, I doubt he will get past Ronald DeSantis.
As for the Dem's, I doubt Biden will be running and Kamala Harris is unelectable, So I expect a newer face from the Dem in 2024,

One name to look at for either 2024 or 2028 presidential race is Gavin Christopher Newsom.
If he decides to run then I believe Trump, Biden and Harris don't stand a chance.

During the first wave in early 2020, antivirals like remdesivir and corticosteroids like dexamethasone showed some efficacy at preventing death and severe illness and were considered standard care treatment for people hospitalised with COVID.

Remdesivir was then given emergency authorization as a COVID antiviral by the US FDA in April 2020 (and the Australian TGA shortly after), and full approval in October 2020 following phase 3 clinical trials.

Through 2020-21 antiviral treatments were increasingly made available to patients at highest risk at the point of diagnosis rather than waiting until they were hospitalised.

Later, other antivirals with proven clinical benefit like paxlovid joined and eventually replaced remdesivir as first line treatment for high risk patients.

Vaccination (which didn’t come online until 2021, and we didn’t reach 90%+ vaccination coverage until 2022), provided a much greater benefit than antivirals and steroids, but they definitely helped take the edge off, particularly in those most at risk groups.

(Also makes you wonder why we even need those anti-virals with vax rates that high, but I digress).

As with any area of medicine, there’s rarely a single magic bullet solution. A combination of strategies is almost always needed to get the best outcome. Vaccines did most of the heavy lifting in reducing COVID mortality and morbidity but antivirals and steroids also play an important role for some groups.

But please elaborate with facts how stopping to fund Ukraine would stop these fires and assist mitigation of climate change.
