I know it's not quite the thing on everyone's lips at this time of year, but it is a bit of fun to fill a gap in the off season (and a chance for us over here to see something resembling footy!)

I've had a dig around and havn't found much on this upcoming series (...match), apart from some earlier talk of a Dustin Fletcher farewell game. Hopefully we don't have to scrape the barrel this year with players wanting to step forward and play, and get a good, fun exhibition. With the game only slightly over a month away, when can we expect to see the teams announced?

They have to be Previously named AA's so their still should be some good name, Plus Clarko Lyon and Scott.C are involved in the coaching

The players have a 1 week tour of the states before playing infront of 80k at Croke Park

It will be a superstar team again

Personally i'm thankful there is no footy for a while. I can handle only so many disappointments at a time. I'll be fully braced for more calamity come Feb / March 2016, though.

Everone abused international rules last year but then the game turned out to be really entertaining. I really enjoyed it last year. Fletcher will be keeper. I think thats close to certain.

Lol, Turned it over, All he could do was boot it 50, His teammates not winning it at the drop isn't his fault. Last 5 minutes he saved 2 certain goals. Legend.

But I think this game could be a bridge too far.

It's mainly a non contact game and I think some of the players get a benefit out of touring together.

With the previous AA pre requisite the good news is no Melbourne player is eligible.
