this game is kind of amazing, at least in idea so far, but not far off in execution. i caught a rapidash on my street last night, today i've been stuck at work but my gf is out catching over a dozen pokemons already! my mate and i are gonna walk to the footy looking for pokemon and hopefully not go too far off course. man i am already so warm to the idea of nintendo mobile games

This sums up my first attempt at catching my first Pokemon.

Thankfully, I've gotten a little better since then!

Currently have Bulbasaur, Pidgeotto, Nidoran♂, Zubat and Rattata. The nearest gym is at my local fire station so I'll have to check it out when I get the chance.

I've claimed the two gyms closest to my house - beating out the red team on both.

One is a bar and the other is a football stadium. Prime f***in real estate if you ask me.

I've only played a bit last night and borderline illegally in the car on the way home....once you get to level 5 to enter a gym, what happens then? Almost legit Pokemon match like the games?

And only way to level is to keep catching or micro transactions?
