There are alternative medication that work where you can do both and be prescribed medication by a doctor.

From what I have heard Ozempic is not only hard to obtain via pharmacy but doctors are also less inclined to prescribe.
Nah it’s not. Telehealth appointments for most people can net an ozempic prescription, the off brand stuff takes even less (lie on an online survey about your weight).

Shit, i better get cracking

The Golden Glenferrie if you go ahead, just make sure the weight you state is congruent for your age and height to be able to be prescribed.

A lot of blokes can't be ****ed with the gym regardless of what it is I reckon.
Ive been that bloke that couldnt be f**ked.

Eat what you want, when you want, watch TV movies, listen to music, surf the net etc etc etc, once your in that state, its very hard to break.

Me too. Exercise (just like all of those idle activities) is addictive I reckon, I'd find it impossible to get out of exercising now i reckon (unless I get injured of course).

I do admit, when I was sick last month and went back after a few weeks of, I lost a lot of motivation and discipline, as I had a lost bit of strength and struggling to get through my workouts.

Fast forward a few weeks since then and Im glad I persevered and pushed through as I feel a lot more happier and enjoying the gym again.

Thats not to say that there are people or things that irritate and or annoy me still. :$

A gym is kind of like a workplace, you’ve all got a job to do and sometimes you have to put up with ****wits in order to get it done, that’s the way I look at it anyway.

Though some of the conversations in my gym would really have no place in a corporate environment ha ha

Interesting comment you made about talking a walk after a meal, I heard recently that it is much better to go for walks after a meal than at any other time of the day. It was in relation to blood glucose levels and using the immediate fuel source for walking then storage.

I went for a walk this evening after dinner.

Didn’t really annoy me but seems the most appropriate place for it.

Walking home from the station I go past a CrossFit box (gym, whatever). It’s in a semi industrial estate with a pretty long driveway and the gym uses the (shared) driveway for the running components of its WOD.

Anyway today I noticed the group had a STACK of very obvious first timers. Brand new gear including the newest metcons or nanos, new garmins and they were… being polite, not in anything resembling shape.

Now more power to them, go get that new year new me, but, if I wasn’t already in pretty good nick, I couldn’t think of a worse introduction to fitness than CrossFit. These people were absolutely ****ing cooked and looked like they were about to vomit and collapse on the pavement.

I’m in pretty good shape and I doubt I’d survive a proper CrossFit session without being truly ****ing pushed. It just seems like a terrible starting venture for New Year’s resolutioners.
