I love having a good, cheap, reliable car. From my local FB group page, those with Audi's and Porsche Cayenne's getting broken into/attempted theft/theft every night just doesn't seem worth itI'd still have my 1998 Honda Civic hatch if I could. When I used to do laps at the Adelaide Aquatic Centre early morning, I would position my bag literally bang on in the middle of the empty stand.Pool would be easy as. Esp if they had a couple ppl doing it.
Once I was doing laps a guy sat right next to my bag. Was so random and weird. I literally just stared at him.. in the end got out and left. Something was just not right. And there was plenty places to sit.
To be honest I think with most gyms, its not the regular crew you need to worry about, but randoms/casuals/newbies.I assume it has the open pigeon holes like most of the big gyms.
My days at standard commercial gyms I had a towel that had a little zip up pocket. Let’s went in there, at most I’d leave a hoodie in the pigeon holes if it was a cold commute to the gym.

At one of my old private gyms, I would regularly see car keys, wallets, purses, watches left in pigeon holes. Mind you one owner was a respected Muay Thai fighter and the other a JuJitsu fighter at the front desk that were well known in the community at the time, importantly both were very imposing. No one was doing dumb shit in there.
My sister goes to a bikie gym. No thanksOur gym owner is similarly imposing, ex pro fighter, bouncer, probably done a lot more stuff, means that it's pretty secure in there.
Well you know where to go if you want anyone killed..My sister goes to a bikie gym. No thanks
At the time I go to the gym, ie around 5am, Im not too worried about my valuables not to mention most of the morning crew know the regulars. With that said, I dont do dumb shit either and leave things laying visibly around and offer temptation. Our gym owner is similarly imposing, ex pro fighter, bouncer, probably done a lot more stuff, means that it's pretty secure in there.

It is a bit different at midnight when groups are letting outsiders in. You know when 5 people enter that something is upAt the time I go to the gym, ie around 5am, Im not too worried about my valuables not to mention most of the morning crew know the regulars. I thought a woman was going to go through my brother's swim bag last week but she was just chasing away a crow that kept trying get into it.Pool would be easy as. Esp if they had a couple ppl doing it.

I think its important to know and be aware of your surroundings. I mean if I was hitting the gym after 4pm, my attitude would be a lot different than say early morning. I do understand why some do carry their bags around in the gym.It is a bit different at midnight when groups are letting outsiders in. You know when 5 people enter that something is up
I would be more worried about her if I was a thief than a young guy at reception.Ours is a 5ft tall woman in her 60s.
Yeh absolutely, I just had this towel so I never had to leave anything in the pigeon holes so newbies, oldies, scummies, Carl Williamsies could wander in and it didn’t bother me.To be honest I think with most gyms, its not the regular crew you need to worry about, but randoms/casuals/newbies.
