I can't reconcile these two statements, what exactly is the latter one based on? Clearly very talented but other than getting run down a bunch of times he hasn't really shown anything at AFL level so far. Odd timing.

He could be the next Tambling for all we know. Let's keep it in our pants, shall we? The kid clearly has a lot of talent, but in his first few AFL games, he's clearly struggled with the pace of the game. Probably needs a couple of years before we can start to see what he's capable of.

Plays like a more athletic Shaun Burgoyne, with shades of a young Chris Judd. Has a bit more od a bull-ish contested element to him, which wasn't as evident in McLeod's game. Expect him to have similar versatility to Burgoyne once he reaches his peak, too.
