I don’t get Rohan at all. He has all the attributes required yet can’t get near it.
If I could run that fast, jump that high, mark that well, kick beautifully I would be a great of the game.
Does the ground swallow him up and hide him? The red hair should also stand out but I can never find him.
No current season stats available
Leon Davis is the main name that comes to mind, Charlie Dixon record would be as bad as Rohan's
He has been a very good regular season addition for the Cats. His forward pressure and goal kicking are both very good. What do you do when you've got a handy player who wins you games in the home and away season but is borderline unplayable in a final?Did I hear right that Geelong are offering Gary "the gun" Rohan a new contract??

I'm no Rohan fan and would be keen to see the back of him, but to put those stats into perspective, Georgiades had basically the same stats as Rohan this year (10 disp avg and 1.52 goals - 32 total) both played 21 games. He plays a valuable role, but for some bizarre reason forgets what to do in finals.Delist.
10 touches and a goal and a half per game is not "very good". It's pretty bog average. Add the fact he's 30 and is the worst finals player in history, what's the point of him?

that is not the point, and I don't doubt Georgiades will be much better than Rohan, but Georgiades was a valuable contributer this year. You don't need to get defensiveGeorgiades is 19 years old.
Rohan is 30.
Georgiades will be 10 times the player Gary Rohan has ever been.

You get the feeling he might no longer be an automatic selection next year
He kicked the 34th most goals in the league this year.Delist.

Ok I'm not making myself clear. Rohan and Georgiades had the same stats in 2021, Georgiades is lauded and an important cog in Port's forward line, but a Port supporter had called Rohan's stats bog average, and asked what the point of Rohan was. The point I'm making is that his stats are as 'good' as Port's second best forward, yes he sucks in finals and like I mentioned previously I'd rather him go, but statistically he provided the same as Georgiades did this year. The point that Georgiades is young and Rohan is not is irrelevant when looking at the single year stats. 30 is also hardly Rohan's primeI'm not at all but you can't compare a second year player to someone in his prime.
Yeah so soft, broke his leg twice this year and still got up for the end of the seasonWhilst they still have Miers who is even softer than Rohan

I don't either and I hope we find a solution. We have Francis Evans who was playing well before injuring his foot so hopefully he'll be back in the side next seasonGeorgiadis is rated to a different standard as he's still a teenager. As it is, he was still a fringe player. The debate for weeks was whether you drop MG, Marshall or Ladhams. He didn't recover from his hammy for the prelim but there was a good chance he wasn't going to be able to force his way back in straight away.
The fact that Rohan has the same stats as a second year forward is not something I'd be rating highly. I just don't know what the point of playing him as a 31 year old would be. Surely there's a youngster on the list who can kick a goal a game, working around the feet of Hawkins and Cameron?
What about Motlop who had a statistically worse season than Rohan, is the same age, played 1 great final against the Cats but was unsighted against the Dogs.Georgiadis is rated to a different standard as he's still a teenager. Surely he belongs in the same category.
Feel Gary is being unfairly criticised for his performance in the prelim.
Second quarter he gets a handball out after a Clayton Oliver tackle but Champion Data don't pick it up. So they basically shafted him out of half his possessions.
