There is no way to sugarcoat anymore - the competition has gone past us at a rapid rate - both in terms of on field strategy and player personnel.

The Scott era has come to a rapid end and we are now in a worse position that we he joined us - an indictment on any coach who has been at a club for as long as Bard has.

Unless we make significant changes off field and on field things will get a lot worse for quite a long period of time to come before they start to look better.

This is the wave of sentiment with fans as well.

Post game I reckon I chatted to about a dozen Roos fans in different areas around Hobart independent of each other (including the airport yesterday afternoon) and all but one said the opposite to this ^^^

I'm not sure what the tipping point is, but agree that for the Board it needs to actually get worse before any change can happen, which at least provides a catalyst for improvement. At the moment it is the proverbial definition of insanity by using the same method over and over for the same result.

Agree they look clueless, un-inspired and hopelessly out of form.

For us supporters it will get worse. Either we witness the support of the playing group ebb away, or we’ll chalk up a couple of meaningless wins which delays the inevitable.
At least with the former it should be the catalyst for change. The latter sees the nightmare get worse imo.

The sad thing is that if we get the spoon this year. The number one draft pick will spend a large chunk of the year in the reserves.

Where he can be mentored by all our previous first round picks, along with Ahern.

They have no idea how to run a club or pick a team.
