Yep last year it felt like we were treading water. Shit trade period very little change around the place. If you're not evolving you're falling behind. Good to see the joint woke up to themselves and started making some good decisions.

We have to wait to see if Hardwick can change the game plan to something that will excite both player and fan. I pray that he does.

I agree there has been continual good news. Every time things look bad we get some good news.
All the crap with the Focus clowns then we sign on Balme and Lolingwood lose Gruby for a year, Gold.
Then draft time it all looks crap as we are going to cough up 6 for Prestia and lose lids to the Pussies in a crap trade. Suddenly we end up with Caddy and Prestia, leaving the pussies crying, again Gold.
Yarran retired then the next thing BLK go and we have Puma.
Draft time we appear to pick up sliders and fill in some gaps, fingers crossed for all those boys to be more Gold

Interesting as I was the exact opposite.
Made the finals for the 2nd year.
Could have finished top 4 with just a couple of things going our way.
A Rioli arrived!
The usual EVERYONE IS FLYING in the preseason sessions happened.

I was very optimistic BEFORE the preseason games started.

Then it hit....what is this crap!!

This year...very unsure.Do we still have the crap. We won't know till Feb next year.

Hopefully...preseason games next year we look great and reverse last seasons debarcle of a start.

But...heh...just need more clips at punt road of players hitting targets doing line drills, beautiful green grass and frivolity among the playing group, and I will be in the top 4 bandwagon.

We filled the right holes on and off the field. For the first time in 20 years we have 2 crumbers up forward who will be dangerous. Midfield has a lot more depth now than what we had this 2016 season. Membership going nicely. New exciting game plan. Can't wait.

If you run those prints down to forensic there may not be a match. It seems there's a assumption it was all him.
He is a great appointment, I agree, but it's almost like he gets the credit for appointing himself!

Yep. There was a lot of spin same time last year. we were locked in top 4 after drafting some inside grunt in Townsend and Moore.
