In some great form at the moment, needs to keep it over the next month though.

No excuses this week, especially if McCaffer is out with an ankle? injury.

Do Shuey, Gaff and Hurn all have BO? Because teams have stopped tagging them. Maybe we have just played a few teams that aren't focused on defence like other clubs.

Macaffer was tagging Shuey today, and he has been getting tagged just about every week. (except maybe against Adelaide, i couldn't catch the game.)

He might have been tagged v Adelaide, but it didn't look like it.

Supposedly Shuey mentioned in an interview after the game that Macaffer had an ankle issue (was at game so didn't hear it)

Round 21 AFLCA Votes

Essendon v West Coast

10 Dyson Heppell (Ess)
6 Jason Winderlich (Ess)
4 Jobe Watson (Ess)
3 Eric Mackenzie (West Coast)
3 Luke Shuey (West Coast)
2 David Zaharakis (Ess)
1 Mark Baguley (Ess)
1 Jeremy McGovern (West Coast)
Did well to only lose by 3 points given Essendon got 23 out of 30 available votes!

Loved Shuey's run down of Colyer, who is certainly no slouch in the pace department.

That was the highlight of his game for me.

None of our other midfielders could have caught him except for Yeo.
