You've got older players like Green, Bruce, Miller.

Younger guys like McLean, Jones, Rivers, Davey, Sylvia,

Young talent in Wonaemairri (??), Frawley, Grimes, Morton, Watts

And a couple of genuine sized ruckmen.


Carlton had a far worse playing list in their down years, most of whom are no longer playing AFL.

Completely agree. Good to see a Melbourne supporter with realistic expectations. I'm flabbergasted that they chose Jackie Watts ahead of Nic Naitanui.

It's decisions like that which cost a club for 10 years.
