Is Tambling the worst player in the AFL?

Seriously, how crap can you be? The bad thing is that he gets away with it, and what's even more shocking is that some people still believe in him.

I can see why they thought he was going to be something, but he is 22 now and i have never seen him do anything half-good.

Has he even had an effective kick so far this season?

Is getting bronx cheers from the Richmond fans in the WB game, and he deserves it.

To think Griffen and Franklin went after him just highlights the terrible call the Tigers made. I know the Bombers have made clangers- Laycock, Bradley and co but Tambling is up tehre with the worst

No, he cops it a lot because he is a ****ing shithouse footballer. I used to think it was all relative too, but no he is a just a disgrace.

Incredibly, ridiculously, indescribably soft. In fact soft is a compliment, there's no words to describe fully how little heart, courage and intensity for the contest he has. On top of that he has NO idea what he is doing out there, no confidence, disposes like he didn't want the ball in the first place and generally looks like he'd rather be anywhere but on the field.

TERRIBLE player. Easily the worst to get a consistent game at AFL level.

Yeah i feel for him when he is getting booed by his own supporters. It is not his fault he got picked so early, he is a Average AFL footballer at best. He looks to have all the attributes but doesnt will himself into contests, outside players always look worse when they are struggling.

If he was picked too high and just didn't have the talent the recruiters thought he did, but still had a crack maybe I'd feel sorry for him e.g Wiggins when he used to cop it for being a first round pick.

I did say in my post as you did that he doesnt "will" himself into contests. He seems to happy to just not be involved.

Yeah he's really been bad today. He cops it from all and sundry but the criticism is more than well deserved today.

He looks like he is actively trying not to be involved in the play, running away from team mates when he should be looking for the handball receive etc., running at 3/4 speed and not chasing at all.

Needs to be sent back to the two's for quite a while I reckon. If he gets picked in the side for next week it will just highlight how much of a rabble the Tigers are.

He is panning out to be a Tambling clone, their second absolutely useless player. Another top ten pick down the drain.

Was one of Richmond's best in the first half and kept Griffen fairly ineffective in the second.

Agree on Edwards he was terrible but Hislop was far from their worst imo (and he actually has a heart)

I think that was best summed up by the shot during the Channel Ten coverage of the little kid in Richmond colors who just gave a sigh that pretty much said '**** this'.. Was a priceless TV moment. Poor kid.

I actually thought Hislop had a go, granted he did turn it over but he tried hard IMO

Poor Kid? Rubbish, Tambling is an absolute spud! Turns the ball over when under no pressure and is a spectator at stopages.. Time for the tiges to move on....
