I'm pretty much over the shock of it all now.

Still feeling a bit flat about the replay, well compared to this time last week, but I'm sure that will change by the end of the week and I'll be a bundle of nerves again on Saturday. Can imagine it will be similar for the players.

Very wierd week though, never seen anything like it and may never again, especially if the AFL change it to extra time instead of a replay.

Doesn't feel like GF week, last week I was watching every TV show, scouring websites and devouring newspapers. This week, not so much. Still excited but I think last week drained me. Hopefully will pick up again on Thursday night with the GF2 Footy Show.

Yeah that sums it up pretty well. Saturday was so exhausting (at least, as a supporter of one of the teams), and I think it's going to take a few days for all the anticipation and the nerves to come back.

this basically

No doubt it's the most anticipated game since forever.

It's probably going to be the most desperate performance from both sides too... I can't farqing wait.

Im still drained from it all. Watched the replay and It was such an epic game. I have never been so emotionaly invloved in a game of footy in my life. Cant see the replay living up to what we saw last weekend but it will still be epic.

It has been very draining emotionally. To be honest I'm still feeling it and can't get into this weeks game. I'm going to America tomorrow and I think this is why my mind is so messed up. I haven't missed a Melbourne game in about 15 years and now I'll miss the biggest one of all. I'll be gone by the time the build up begins, win or lose I feel like the whole experience has been stolen from me. It doesn't feel real, I can't get it into my head that we are playing another Grand Final this week.

I don't think I was ever shocked, it was just a complete numb feeling to me. I am definitely ready for this Saturday and really looking forward to it.

The shock was never there for me, I've been waiting for this since about an hour after the game. A Grand Final is that, a Grand Final, no matter if it is a replay or not. I have noticed though how much the hype has died down this week, which is a shame.

It feels stupid but I cant seem to comprehend that there will be another Grand Final this weekend. Having the exact same gathering at the same mates place on Saturday, I'll still have Lenny Hayes and Leon Davis in the drinking game (you have to drink double for Davis because he is so bad).

Been in Melbourne since Saturday morning, have felt flat since the final siren... but just this afternoon (going into Melbourne Sports Books and spending a good 45 minutes browsing) the fire has begun to flicker. Helped when I picked up tix this afternoon too.

Saturday Night: Can not go through this again!

Sunday: Recovering, can't believe what happened.

Monday: Bought and pick up tickets.

Tuesday: Getting pumped, can't believe how slow this week is going, Saturday is so far away.

Anyone who had blast last weekend, would be looking forward to this
match as much as myself.

I was wrapped about this situation.

Another week to be excited.

I just pity the do-gooders who rave on about extra time,
they must live for no excitement.

FOOOOTY lives another week and IM PUMPED!

And my side aint even in the friggen Grandy.

I was pretty excited about it, as I had to work last week and missed the entire day, and I LOVE Grand Final Day so it's gonna be awesome! :)

I think in the next couple of days, the excitement will really start to hit Melbourne town, and I think people should stop whining about extra time etc long enough to cherish this unique situation as who knows if it'll ever happen again! Especially if the rules are changed.

This.

Need to spark up for Saturday, I'm nowhere near it at the moment.

I think some of it has to do with having plans on Saturday night - if we'd won last week I was looking forward to roaming the streets all night embracing anyone with black and white stripes. Now I don't have that option.
