It's not abusive, it's just frustrating that you keep thinking Richmond will get Ashcroft if you bid on him at pick 1.

They/You should (in order to make Brisbane pay a higher cost in terms of future points which includes absorbing later round and future picks) but you won't.

It doesn't matter if Richmond has 10000000 more points than Brisbane, The Lions have enough to pay for him.

Anyhow, that deal you done late last week (IE Lions trading pick 20 to Richmond for a bunch of junk later picks) is likely done in the goodwill between both clubs that Richmond won't bid on Ashcroft (tipping Norf will though)

No harm in being compared to Biff Tannen BTW

It was never even about having enough points for Ashcroft as we were always going to get enough points for him and go for him first. It’s about getting enough points for both him AND Sam Marshall in the same draft, plus banking points for next year so we can use them on Dan Annable.
