We did that pick swap with you a couple of days ago in order to accumulate points to help pay for Cody Walker next season without wiping our entire draft hand and go into deficit (also the Campo twins this year)

Carlton and SOS trolled Freo a few years ago by bidding early on Liam Henry, which put Freo into points deficit and meant they missed out on a pick where they could have drafted Chad Warner (lol JoseMourinho)

This is why we have seen so many draft pick swaps this trade period, everyone is getting ready for next year where clubs have to pay a steeper price for Father Son and Academy selections.

Yeah I figured our pick swap would’ve been so you could get points towards Walker and the Camporeale twins.. that’s also why we swapped pick 20 with Richmond’s 2nd and 3rd rounders (lol) for Ashcroft & Marshall bidding points. Why risk drafting an unknown when you have players in these situations that you know their skill level, and you also know they actually do want to play for your club?
