I went to training this morning, it was hot as! All the boys were stuffed when they came off, especially the young ones doing fartlek training (i think that is the correct spelling)! Im a bit worried about Francou, all he has been doing lately is running laps, and then going for a recovery session in the pool. Has anyone heard anything?

No more flu causing bacteria then.
Met a girl from Siberia once that said they couldn't wait till it got to something like -27, because then nobody would get colds anymore, or something along those lines.

However she also said that someone left a window partly open once and came back from a shopping expedition to find an ice block instead of a fish tank. :D

....how glad am I that I don't have to do pre season training? I feel for the players training in this heat.

Summer over here so far this year as been really rather cool:confused: .

Will be a change for the eagles and dockers who usually are the ones (along with brissy) use to the heat.......Will this work in our favour or not???

Hot??? You pack of sooks. Good crisp, dry heat. What you complaining about?

Spare a thought for the NTFL players who were running around in the mid 30's with 100% humidity. Fortunately it's now down to the low 30's.

Did anyone watch the Tour Down Under? 43 degrees on Saturday and they're going like bats out of hell up Willunga hill! Unbelievable!

On the way down one guy came off at about 70 kms per hour. Apparently he had lost consciousness before hitting the ground. Was awfull to watch.
