We have to come to the realisation that we aren't anywhere near top 4. On current form we won't make the 8. FFS, we are on the same win/loss ratio as Carlton and only half a game infront of Richmond. We have played only 2 finalists from last season and we have that sort of record. What the hell is going on? It doesn't make sense that we have had this big a fall from last season. Even though our finals last season flatered us, we wern't anywhere near this bad during the season proper.

you forgetting the bad patch against melb, rich, brisbane when pendles was out at the end of last year?
add the fact we couldn't win a game by over 34 points yet our biggest loss was 90+ against brions was worrying signs imo.

Lockyer and Shaw's were probably the only players who could hold his head high after yesterday.

Lockyer has reinvented himself for the 57th time in his career, now a small forward option too. :thumbsu:

Yes, Lockyer was terrific, again. He doesn't get half the credit he deserves. He's always so solid, and showed some real determination yesterday.

I'm seriously thinking about who I want to barrack for the rest of my life

Get on board the Buddy train DanGerous. There's plenty of room, they're adding carriages all the time.

Thanks for the PM BTW. That was good of you, if not a little misfortunate timing on your behalf. I hope you got some of that fresh air you were talking about. I got a little sun myself in Bay 55 yesterday. Nice.

Hah.. I'm tempted don't worry

I got 3 points off a Carlton mod and 3 points off an Essendon mod

They really take that whole rivalry thing to heart :p

Collingwood have lost 10 of their last 11 Grand Finals, that's 9%, not even double digits

Since 1960 Hawthorn have been the powerhouse of the competition with the highest win rate (61% to Calrton 58% in 2nd place) and have won the most flags (8 to Carlton 7 in 2nd place)

They make bridesmaids out of the side that constantly makes bridesmaids of us be it in Grand Finals or in the chase for star players like Judd and Stevens

On top of that Hawthorn have the one player from another club you'd go and see every week just to watch him play, a once in a generation freak.. Franklin

They also have the rising star of 2008 no doubt in Rioli, another electrifying freak

In fact they are a Champion factory.. Brereton Dunstall Matthews Knights Moore Langford Platten etc while we just push out bog ordinary vanilla that gets you to a GF but can't win it.

I've loved Collingwood all my life but they never love you back!

They make you feel foolish, they make you feel like losers!

We are still the crowd kings and command the largest supporter base but maybe that's what creates the complacency

Maybe this club needs to lose those that have loved it before it will wake up!

Buy a membership DanGerous, you'll never regret it.

Should I post a link ?

Naaah, I'd imagine you can find your way around the official website to the Hawks membership department.

Well, TBH I think that Geelong has every right to flag favoritism and that there's a handful of other sides that could make a GF.

Us, well we're just happy to get the four points.

Well what about the future? Hawks are primed right now but as you point out there is a little team called Geelong.

With GC17 and West Sydney taking all the draft picks for the foreseeable future I count 7 Hawk players under 22 playing regular senior footy, Collingwood has 11.. who is better positioned to get through the wasteland the AFL is going to create?

And what of free agency? Can you attract the big stars to Waverly/Tasmania or would the Lexus centre be more attractive?

Are you seriously considering a switch in clubs? I know we havn't delievered when we should have, but jesus, it will be a cold day in hell before I change clubs.

I am Collingwood till I die, nothing can or will ever change that. I bleed for the Black and White.

Are you seriously considering a switch in clubs?
Yes I am, I don't want to end up all bitter and twisted like Shepboy who festers and fumes over lost Grand Finals, I think he has been through all 10 of the Grand Finals we've lost, I'd rather get out before I become an angry old fart

Wow, a loss really brings out the worst in some people....
Looks like some people are just bandwagon supporters, jump ship when the going gets a bit tough, it's pathetic....
Harden the F*** up!
