Re: Jackson Trengove - The future?

Glad to see that he didn't make a liar out of me lol :)

You did well, any other forsight?

Where are all the posters that said he wants to go to Richmond and Carlton?

Where are the same posters that messaged me - telling me that my info was 100% incorrect (Essendon knobs) and that he was Essendon bound lol

Good to see my Adelaide source's track record is still strong!

Re: Jackson Trengove - The future?

According to Jon Ralph on Twitter Tigers weren't keen on him because he's not a ruckman.

He obviously made up his mind before the Dogs game with the performance he gave. Hoping for many more consistent efforts like that now that his mind's clear. A solid pre season to add some bulk and we may actually have an intimidating figure crashing into packs next season!

john ralph is full of shit, the tigers were up to their necks in trengove talk - even the playing list were discussing him

what more to expect from a wank like him

Re: Jackson Trengove - The future?

It also comes back to an earleir point that a club never losses 6 plus player I can't recall it ever happening, one or two is ever the most.

I'm sure Andy D has giving a few Pep talks to the players saying all is ok at Port and to hold strong.

Nice one Jackson!

I won't believe that Trengove + about five others are staying and not going to Richmond until the end of trade week.

Not sure if serious?

Well played PAFC and Jackson Trengove! top news, wonderful day all round!

Next please.

This is an opportunity of a lifetime for guys like Trengove and Butcher and Moore and Pittard and Lobbe and to some extent Gray, Boak and Hartlett to stamp their names in the history books

... doing something that they love and have sacrificed significantly to achieve

... in 20 years time, they will be able to look back collectively and be proud of the fact that they didn't sell out when it would have been dead easy to do so. That they didn't take the easy road, that they took a stand and made a commitment to a club that had shown faith in them from the start of their AFL careers

... in doing so, they will reflect on how they played a huge part in pulling this historic club up off the canvas and back where it belongs as a force in the competition

Let's make no mistake about it. These young blokes are making exceptionally difficult, life-changing decisions that have the potential to make or break their success as footballers.

It speaks volumes of their integrity that they have chosen to stick with the club through the current situation and into the future ... full credit to them.

Exciting times ahead.
