Krak and Thomson had the X-factor and that was it. Neade has the X-factor, but that's on top of being a naturally attacking player who instinctively does the 1 percenters.

As was Krak, but agree Krak was not as team orientated. Anyway, let's talk about Neade, my point was i hope he sticks around, I love what he's done so far, and small forward role is not an easy one.

I thought I explained it already? My memory may have failed me but I recall being very excited about the talent Krak displayed in his first few games for Port. Is it bad form comparing young indigenous forwards that have exploded on the scene whilst playing for the same club in recent times?

Nothing wrong with comparing them, but I don't see any point in worrying about whether or not he'll make it.

It seems whenever an indigenous player shows promise, he is immediately compared to every other indigenous player, regardless of any other real similarity. Big deal that Nathan Krakouer didn't make it as a player. Jake Neade is not Nathan Krakouer.

Heaven forbid we ever draft a tall, indigenous marking forward. The comparisons to Jurrah would be impossible to bear.

Neade and Wingard were the turnaround factor of the game. Neade is just spectacular to watch. Sorry to the supporters who sat behind me everytime he was in turning his player inside out in front of me. I was on my feet screaming my approval.

I would have given him the medal, he met all the criteria.

We would not have won tonight without Jake Neade. Kane Mitchell has his speed, but not his smarts.

Not much more needs to be said but here goes...

He is our most exciting player. He changed that game for us last night. He plays on instinct and is just lightning quick with skills to match. A bums on seats player if there ever was one.

Surely he'll get big media attention this week. He'll be 'Everyone's favourite player from another club' if he keeps it up

Is fast becoming my favourite player!... Discuss.
Agreed, annoyed my friends last night by repeatedly going 'I feel the need, the need for speed' when he grabbed it. He never let me down. His working relationship with Wingard is supernatural, I first noticed it in the Melbourne game, I can't recall anything like it.
I Shook Rohde's hand back at the club and asked how in hell Neade fell to us from GWS. I'm not going to post his reply because that's not fair but don't worry I'm not withholding anything. The gist was what we know, that we are just lucky bastards really.

.....Edit: and with another per season I want on the wing. Pearce? Who the hell was that.?
And that's after an edit?

the only thing that pissed me off at the end is that he didnt win the medal....
Likely to have been close, two misses from fairly simple shots was probably the clincher.

Neade, Wingard and Gray.
Not A factor X3 but X factor to the power of 3.

If they get tagged it will release Boak and Hartlett big time.

It seems whenever an indigenous player shows promise, he is immediately compared to every other indigenous player, regardless of any other real similarity.

Neade is the next Polly Farmer.

Loved reading all the articles and past coaches comments on him after we traded for him.
Just makes things happen. I showed my gf his run down the wing about 3 times to my gf.. think she got jealous. :p
