Her: ... the legal cases ... the length of time. Are you prolonging the pain to protect your own reputation?

Him: It wasn't about my own reputation, but trying to get natural justice for the players ... I can understand CAS etc and WADA wanting to send a strong message no drugs in sport ... but the 34 are 'sacrificial lambs', innocent men.

Her: But no-0ne can say what they were injected with.

Him: Dank can. But if no-one can, how can they have been found guilty? You're asking the players to prove their innocence. The players have been put in a position where they're seen as drug cheats.

'The players weren't given due process'.

Except the Federal Court - twice - decided they had been. And failing a High Court appeal, the FC is the final arbiter of that in law. But of course James disagrees.

This really shows the fantasy land he lives in.

This is the time for the question how can you know they are innocent?

And follow up that if you don't know and you are injecting something it must be seen as illegal in sport.

But no, she now goes onto the personal impact. IDGAF about the impact on brand Hird.

Please say something slanderous, please say something slanderous.

Jesus even Robbo's piling on saying better questions need to be asked.

You seem like one of the Essendon posters who is really trying to be unbiased about the whole thing. Do you think this interview is a crock of shit, for lack of better words? Personally I think this is THE turning point. And not the one Hird wanted. Journos are frothing at the mouth publicly about how bad this is. I think a lot of gloves are about to come off.

Under the wheels so far-

- the Essendon football club
- the club doctor Bruce Reid for not making the program so safe or stopping Lovett Murray form taking his injection and for approving AOD9604.
- the AFL for denying procedural fairness and making it public and interfering with the ASADA investigation and for telling the club to accept penalties.
- Ian Robson for designing the club structure, for not acting on the letter Bruce Reid wrote and for not firing Dank and Robinson.
- Paul Hamilton for reporting to Ian Robson
- Dean Robinson and Stephen Dank for not always following the protocols that James ensured were put in place.
- Someone for not putting the supporting documentation on the firms.
- Liz Lucan for ridiculously saying that Hird should take responsibility (seriously what an absurd idea)
- Gil McLaughlin for preventing him from lying during the press conference
- David Evans for betraying Hird and telling him to lie to ASADA.
- ASADA for not telling him to stop the peptides
- the media for tarnishing his good name.
- CAS (obviously) for sacrificing 34 fine men.

I'm not trying to be anything. I'm just saying what I think.
