Good evening and welcome to JDOTW Round 12: Adelaide!

In AFL football, guernsey designs are sacred. Even minor changes attract an enormous amount of scrutiny from club supporters and the general population alike.

In association football on the other hand, shirt designs change year in year out. Clubs will usually have a broad design that they'll stick to, eg:

- Manchester United wear red shirts, white shorts and black socks.
- Juventus wear black and white stripes
- Barcelona wear deep red and blue stripes

But within those broad design elements, shirt designers are allowed to run wild with ideas. Have a look at Barcelona through the years:

Despite all the home shirts satisfying the "deep red and blue stripes" criteria, they are all different.

Now imagine if the same thing happened in AFL football.

Imagine if Geelong wore a different navy and white hooped guernsey every year. Imagine if Collingwood fans gathered each year at the Westpac Centre to see what their black and white striped guernsey would look like for the upcoming season.

In Jumper Development of the week, you will design these guernseys.

Rules:

- You must design a complete set of jumpers for the chosen team using any template you wish, and you may use any program you wish.

- A maximum of one entry per person is permitted. Each entry must contain a Home and Clash jumper. A third jumper is optional.

- Design a home playing strip for the nominated club of the round. The home strip should echo the broad design ideas and colours of the current home guernsey of that team, but be unique and creative!

-No use of custom/created logos on jumper designs will be allowed. Historic/previous logos are permitted.

-Entries will be open for 6 days and voting will take place in the following 4 days.

-Any design issues regarding the rules will be decided upon by Bacon Warrior. There will be no bitching about my final decision.

-Entries will close on 11/3/14 and the poll will be up later that day.

Those could quite easily have been the home, away and clash for their SANFL team I reckon.
They couldn't have had all 3. They will play all matches away and in the competition to design the jumper they weren't allowed to use blue as a base colour as it would clash with some teams (maybe Central and WWT).

Can't wear the State guernsey, so they will wear the State instead.

There are only 1200 people in Port Adelaide, buddy. They are the club for All South Australians except for the 47% of Port supporters in the state.

What's so clever about this is that you've incorporated the SA double vee (whether intentionally or not) while still keeping a modern design that differs from anything we've seen before.

The only thing that bugs me is the inconsistent width of the lines
