Do you have a source or anything?

I realise footballers have lives outside of the AFL, but what business purposes does he have that he would have already decided, at this early stage of the football year, to quit his football career for?

Or have you been told by a friend of a friend of your mothers 3rd cousin twice removed that he owns an investment property there and made assumptions that he is moving there for "business purposes"? Maybe he's going to coach the GC?

Some guy rang up SEN a couple of weeks ago and said that he'd sold his house and said he was moving to the GC. I'd never believe anything off SEN, especially by random idiots but you never know.

There was an article in the Herald Sun in the property section a few weeks ago that he sold his house, so it is no real secret. But woopty-do he sold his house doesn't mean anything, i heard that caller to and it seems he was drawing a long bow.

I'd say anyone who needs some topping filler - perhaps Hawthorn? Their rucks aren't really that great, could need a mentor.

White and Silvia for Thorp + 3rd Round?

I dont mind that trade option, only thing is that the Hawks rucking pair are ok, not stunning no doubt but they seem to get the job done, however looking at them a bit closer maybe the Hawks could do with White.

LOL, but in all seriousness, I've heard that, and it makes perfect sense too, why the hell wouldn't Melbourne play him if he was still going to be around in the short term furture (2-3 years).

I doubt they would both be gone next year. Gonna replace them with Meesen and Zomer? I dont think so.

Robbie Warnock will probably be replacing one of them, and Natanui might be drafted. Even if neither of those happen, one of Jamar or White are guaranteed to be gone. They've lost patience with White and Bailey said Jamar is being put on notice to perform in the number 1 ruck spot, and he isn't cutting it. It wouldn't matter if they were replaced by two 18 years olds from the 6th round of the draft. They are not going to be getting any better and are just clogging the list. IMO, they will both be gone.

I did have White on my dream team and as a Freo member I do have some interest in how he is going. I have now traded him for Hille so dream team does not matter, but I am suprised that he can't get a game. I don't watch all of the dees game so don't really know how he was going, but as far as dream team goes he was running second behind Cox in average points scored for ruckman when he was dropped and I hung on to him for a couple of weeks because I was sure he would get back in. I don't believe any of the bottom teams ie Freo, Wc, or the D's are tanking but understand that the coaches may want to mix things around a bit just to see what their options are, however I really do believe that White is your best ruckman ATM so am suprised that he is not getting a game. Sure he isn't the best in the league at getting the hit outs at the centre bounce (IMO Sandilands wins there but we are still useless at getting the clearance) but I think he is reasonably mobile and has pretty good allround skills. I would have thought that there was room for White and one of Jamar or Bailey on your team, White was always pretty effective in the forward half as a tall option when resting.
P.S. I'm fairly confident that Warnock will be staying with us and we will soon have the best ruck duo in the comp so don't get your hopes up.

Not mentioned yet but I heard he's going to GC for business purposes at the end of the year.

If true, then he has been a great player for Melbourne and I hope they can give him a few games to finish his career off.

I hope he gets a gig somewhere, Hawthorn, Carlton or Collingwood could do with him, the way he's been treated has been disgraceful considering the guy who's replaced him is probably the most pathetic player in the AFL.
I mean fair dinkum, Jamar is useless, always has been and always will be, its the one thing thats really given me the shyts about bailey and his coaching this year
