There was a fair bit of interest on this bloke a little while ago, and just read this article about him training with the hawks

Again, typical HUN article, doesn't really say much that has been set in stone. I mean last month he was "set to go to Brisbane."
But, looks like he is bound for the Hawks, which makes sense as their backline has lost a bit with retirements this year.

If we lose Mcphee and / or Welsh we simply have to take the risk and pick Smith up. By all reports, we are better off giving him that outside chance to get fit then draft a kid in the 60 + range of this draft.
