Joey's ratings - is this a record?

after pulling 1,637,000 viewers on Tuesday night, Joey managed 643,000 the night after.

is there a factor I've missed here, or is Joey really THAT bad?


on a side note, is 994,000 viewers a record one-night drop in viewers for a regular program?

Should have taken the hint after Friends and quit. Drea De Matteo is certainly worth a look though.

matt le blanc is the only one who created a spin off. the others had the abilities to gain fame outside of the show. indictment of le blanc me thinks.

He earned quite alot of money for doing Joey though as far as i know. I believe its already been cancelled (Feel free to correct me if i am wrong)...

By far the least successful member of the Friends cast, however after doing Joey financially he wouldnt be too far off what Matthew Perry has earned.

1- Anniston
2- Cox
I cant really seperate Schwimmer, Perry and Kudrow though...

As far as it goes as a show it is just plain awful. I mean his character just feels wrong without being around the other friends characters. He really complimented them well... Spin off probably could have worked with maybe Cox & Perry and probably would have done well with Anniston but none of the others.

It explains why Joey's ratings are misleading... but it also raises the question of why was the Australian viewing public so interested in yet another televisual rehash of the life of K Packer?

It is beyond me. Maybe the fact there is nothing else on at that time of night. Most of the hour was a bit much- 45 minutes to Packer (including a 5-10 minute interview with Alan Jones ), 5 minutes for the sport and 5 for the weather.

He should have learned from Kramer/George/Elaine and their respective shows after Seinfield. Although not 'spin offs' they were just transferring their character to another TV show....didnt work.

Happy Days had three reasonably successful spin offs.

Never gonna be as good as the show they were created from, but worth a try

Actually after going on IMDB and seeing how much Cox and Anniston got paid for their movies Cox may have earned more from movies than Anniston... She was being paid like 15 million to do Scream 2 and 3 and like $7,500,000 to do 3000 Miles To Graceland... Anniston would still be worth more though you'd think...
