John Winston Howard - what is his legacy?

Worst PM? Abbott beats him for that title. Howard did some very crappy things but did at least three good things.

Agree Abbott was worse, but I recon in the context of where Australia is today, Howard did worse given the great hand he was dealt

I've explained why I think Howard was the worst earlier in thread; without Howard, you don't get Abbott or Morrison, and you wouldn't get Dutton.

You probably don't get Fraser Annig either.

That is a good point. That last term set a horrible precedent and set us on a bad path. I was a member at the time and we were stunned at some changes although Abbott did worse
