I'm surprised more isn't being made of his knee on Meek.

I haven't seen the replay but live it looked brutal and very deliberate.

I'd be pissed if it happened the other way but loved it from Sweet who I didn't think had it in him.

I can't remember if it was on this thread but Sweet's handball on the deck to the Hornet was just the bee's knees.

He seems to get better as the game goes on.

Good chance we'd have won that flag if we'd gotten a performance like Sweet's Q4 on the weekend out of our ruckman that night rather than the Q4 performance we got from Lycett.

Number one priority is to improve his golf handicap. Winning a flag is an afterthought at number four.

I remember some publication listing the top 18 Ruckmen this year, and im fairly sure Sweet wasnt even named in that list.
Either they forgot he exists, or Im massively over emphasising his season

Apart from the obvious couple of top rucks the rest are pretty even.
Sweet is definitely amongst them.

Sweet also got better with every game, particularly from round 17 onwards when he played every game. He more than matched Grundy at Adelaide Oval, who is supposed to be elite, and he thrashed English, O'Brien, Reidy (with Jackson combined), Meek and Nankervis. Only Gawn beat him outright but Moyle just shaded him too.
