those of you with gamble, rioli and tippett made the right choice at the time. It's like in poker when your opponent gets the last part of his flush at the river and you're sitting there holding your head.

I decided with Gamble, Rioli and Tippett there was no point trading for Hill.
It makes sense, but still, bit painful.
Same boat as you. There's still time to admit our errors. It's cost us a potential 50+K but he's proved now he wasn't just a flash in the pan.
Same boat as you Athomas, had Tippett, Rioli and Gamble. Saw no point in trading them in for Hill.
I'm in the same reasonably small boat as you guys as well...
i like this comment as we're talking about gamble...those of you with gamble, rioli and tippett made the right choice at the time. It's like in poker when your opponent gets the last part of his flush at the river and you're sitting there holding your head.
So who did you trade out? Tippett or an underperforming mid-priced forward?Same situation as you fellas with Rioli,Tippett and Gamble but I traded Tippett for Hill. I think it is hugely important to have the best cashcows at the start of the year and I had to bring Hill in.
I see where you guys are coming from though

at least if that happens he's already made us $74,400

Riolio hasn't even played yet FFSWhy didnt I start him ahead of Rioli? *slams head*
Traded him in this week for dew and had him starting on the field
Hill scored more than Brad Johnson and Jono Brown put together this week
you have to consider he is a young bloke, and the doggies have won all three games... and seriously, you guys are saying "if he can maintain this average the whole year...." as if he will maintain a 95 average all year... what and win the brownlow too!!!
i traded thompson out for him, so i am happy, but im def not getting over excited...
Palmer is looking just as good if not better.. .he's 20k cheaper and had scores of 87 and 90.
no he's not, he's $4,000 cheaper and hill has better scores
