The Herald-Sun article actually states he is in no hurry to fast-track friendships. Nothing unusual about that. I am exactly the same. He has his own group of friends, one of whom, Steven Greene, is a business partner. Matthew Kruezer stated in a recent interview that Judd was one of the first Carlton people to shake his hand & welcome him to the club, which tends to disprove your interpretation of that particular part of the article that, by the way, was not a quote from Judd.

Being on a team I must say you dont ignore people cos you dont like them. Is someone who they want to captain the club only going to be friends with 1 or 2 players and ignore everyone else. Again, where does it say he's ignoring anyone. In the article it says he went out of his way to spend one on one time with all the players on the camp.

Deliberately misquoting and misinterpreting Judd to try demonise him isn't going to work on anybody - except maybe bitter and twisted eagles fans.

In all seriousness. Though yes the media might be pulling some legs with this talk but you have to consider the bad with the good. Yes he has been training well and looks in line to get a go in a couple of weeks but if all this injure news keeps going and he does end up causing injuries to himself by playing. It will be terrible if he was to retire at such a young age due to injuries.

Some of you are overreacting. He's got a little over a month to put such niggles behind him. Some of you, by my estimation, are simply hoping to have him unfit and injured purely out of spite.

There is always the potential to injure or reinjure when playing contact sports anyway, so this "may never play again" quip is an over exaggeration.
