I think it's an interesting one, I guess if I was an umpire Kerr would grab my attention more because he has stepped up a gear or two. Judd is Judd and I think sometimes it becomes "expected" of him to be performing like that and therefore could possibly lose some votes to Kerr.

I agree, Judd's supremacy on the competition is just a given but everytime you see him in full flight, its awe inspiring, no matter how many times you have seen him do it.
I am surprised that Judd is eligible for the brownlow because of the fact that he isn't human
But i guarantee that one (or 2) of them will win it (or end up with the most votes)

It's like whenever you see him grab the ball you're immediately on the edge of your seat waiting for that next magical moment....geez he is awesome

Every night before RoJo goes to sleep he prays: Please Lord dont let me kick the footy ball, just allow me to do the 1%'s and fire out a handball to my more fancied teammates namely Chris Judd. AND please make sure I never ever kick for goal 10 mts out on a slight angle.
If he follows this he will be the most dominate handballer the AFL has ever seen.
I do see RoJo running for politics for some reason after hs footy career is over........

Kerr for 3 reasons:
1) he hasn't won the Brownlow before
2) Kerry is my sponsored player for 07

the reason why judd i think will win is becasue, whenever he gets the ball he sprints 100m breaks the lines and hits targets consistantly, whereas kerr will get possesions but just give it off, if you know what i mean... and its just more noticable by umpires what judd does, and also kicking goals is much more noticable... if it was about possessions when daniel cross should have won numerous brownlows now.... thats why i think judd has 5-6 votes now.
no, judd has 4 votes and kerr has 6, although i do agree with your arguement on the noticability and quality of Judd's possessions, for instance, Judd might be judged best a field with 20 posessions and another player might get 25-30 but judd's quality will come over quantity, and in the spirit of easter, its like having 3 kilos of cabdury eggs vs 2 kilos of lindt eggs...

yes i clearly rememer that game.. but i still believe that judd will have 5-6 votes at this stage. kerr get cheap possesions and all you west coast supporters know it. im not having i crack at kerry... hes a freak, but judd is so much more damaging, and thats what the umpires notice....

Kerr has been racking up the give and go hand passes this year, getting the ball off half back and getting 2-4 touches that make absolutely no difference to the opposition and doing it multiple times a game. so thats 15-20 nothing touches and 15-20 that make the opposition want to shut him down.
Judd has been better in each game, within 5-6 disposals of kerr's total but uses the ball in a far more damaging way.
the umpires don't get a look at the stat sheet or listen to the comentators
Judd can get 18 disposals and still poll 3 votes for the game, only difference is that he has carried the ball 200+ meters, has 7 clearances and set up 4 goals from kicks inside 50 while kicking 2 of his own.

Judd. There's not much splitting them at the moment, but Kerr is much more likely to have a brain explosion and get reported.
It will be interesting to watch how he handles the extra sledging and pressure this year in the absence of Cousins. Maybe he'll grow up a bit, knowing that the team needs him even more now. I hope so.

Yes and no.
Yes Judd can be more damaging possession wise but Kerr will jump in the middle of a pack, have 3 guys hanging off him and THEN get it to Judd. That's generally the difference, Kerr gets the ball in a tight situation and Judd finishes of in a typical Judd fashion. Both just different types of players but equally as good IMO.
