I missed the incident because I had to go pick up pizza and no-one could really tell me what happened. They didn't show any replays either, so I have no idea what is going on. Can someone please enlighten me?

Also, I think Amon will spend a week on the sideline (at least) for his stupidity.

IMHO

Monte, possible strife, took his eyes off ball (record etc).

Jude, should be laughing.

But, it is so bloody vaugue, these days.
 
amon with his big prior earlier in the season... probably 2 weeks

bolton's looked more serious... probably 2 weeks without priors

(but what do i know, when amon got booked for 4 weeks, i thought it was the most piss-weak decision)
 
I agree, Amon's four-week ban was completely out of the blue and unwarranted in my opinion.

Jude will likely miss one, Buchanan miss one as well. Gives a chance to bring some guys back in (ROK, MOL, Playfair) and some depth for the second week if we make it.
 
Watched the replay this morning.Commentators were quick to make a point that both Amon and Jude both had their feet off the ground when they hit.They showed Hall hit Merett but didn't say anything.
 
With his good record and an early plea Jude should be OK. Amon's is more serious and with his record he may miss. Hall's was a love pat and they might look at it but Merrett collapsed in a Hollywood heap. He's probably going to be OK.

Because that was an absolute joke and the commentators knew it. Brisbane was egging Hall on all night, trying to get him to snap, and whenever he did something remotely physical they dived all over the place like the Chinese Swim Team.
 
Im so sick of these crappy reports, there getting more pathetic each week!... Bolts seemed to make contact with his arse to the guys chest, bris player threw his head back to avoid contact..
 
Well he didn't actually get reported, mind you, they said the ump looked at his number to check who it was but didn't report him. It'll be reviewed though. I think the fact he jumped late at all, and made high contact is enough for it to be given at least a week.

Haven't watched the replay yet but IMHO nowhere near as bad as Buchanan or Goodes! as player was running just disposed not bent over the ball

Just a late bump in the clear that was a tad high!

Negligent+ High+ Minimal contact = 125 reduced back to under 100 for good record and early plea!

As for Halls love tap... meh...stupid to push it but fairy floss stuff!... won't even be cited!

i dont think he even got him high, he threw his head back and avoided any head contact, looked worse than it was to the average eye
 
Jude: looked worse than it was, nothing serious in it.
Amon: tyrpical stupid careless Amon jump with no eyes for the ball, could go 1 week. I dont think he means any harm, he's just go this bad habit of jumping into players. Look at the replay of the 05 grandfinal, when leo took that last grab, and you'll see amon doing exactly the same thing, and lucky not to give away a free.
