Never ever thought he should have been up for trade bait, never ever thought he should have been even mentioned for it. Great Swans player, hard as nails and has always given his utmost. Kudos to him for giving his knockers (and there have been alot on here some years ago) insight into judging a player who has given more than just stats.

Will be sorely missed when he retires. Wonder what sort of deals were offered to the Swans when he was used as trade bait a few years back? Fair to say i wouldn't have entertained any of them. Although in saying that, it was probably used to give him a kick up the arse.

Definitely, one of the Swannies best. Liked that he had a word to Goodes towards the end after he kicked poorly. Certainly a leader and would have to be close to retiring to a Swans legend. Would hope he has another go round.

Great player, but why the hell does such a great player end up on the bench 2 minutes into the game as he was tonight? Surely the best players need to be on the ground early.

I remember when I was around 6-7 there was a Swans player coming to our school to promote AFL. The school though was on the Central Coast and 1 hour from Sydney.

Anyway I remember when he arrived, I was dumb and expecting Tony Lockett or some shit but I didn't know the guys name or face. I brought my plush Swan toy and he signed it. I brought it home and no one really knew who he was and I was heaps deflated and disappointed because my very big family of 9 were really excited to see who I was meeting before I left for school that morning.

Anway as you may have guessed, turns out that man we didn't know was Jude Bolton. :thumbsu:
