Ridiculous player management by the Dogs if true. Most players would lose their focus, unless they're Nick Daicos or Scott Pendlebury, and most youngsters need to be disciplined as they don't have the self discipline just yet. Also generally seems ridiculous to head overseas whilst in season.
Not sure you read the post you replied to. Club didn’t know he was going.

I've looked all over the Bunnings website but they don't seem to sell these? 🤔

Speciality item. Only dispensed through specially trained reps and exclusive locations.
Quite often can be purchased through a Tupperware type party hosted in someones home.
I'msure some here would DM you with location details of the nearest party to your residence.

Is it made of glass so you can keep an eye on your sausages with the hood down? Because this is groundbreaking to the Dad who gets half pissed while cooking and burns them

Yeah but they should have known.

Doesn't bode well for club culture if your young players don't want to tell you they're headed overseas or that the club doesn't know about it.
Doesn’t bode well for the individual. He is a adult. I would be sacked in a similar scenario. Although I do agree - if true, he should have been dropped.

I have heard he was shopped around off season. No takers. Not even the Saints 😮

Just like your club should have known Stokes was a coke head or that Stengel was off his nut in a night club.

Culture herpa derp.

Hypocrisy GIF

Young players, or a single young player - who is also now taking time away from the club due to (presumably) the same issues which saw him skip town a week before a final without telling anyone. Big difference I'd say when you want to talk about club culture.

Just get a MAPP gas torch and make your own, there's a reason they are kept behind the counter. ;)
I only know because I used to work there, Crystal Methodists were always coming in to buy them!

I think 'the individual' might get a bit of slack given how much pressure he's been under since joining the AFL and how young he is (the media would not stop fellating him at every single moment for his first season).

I'd have thought even if you were going through a rough patch you might tell someone at the club you needed a break, but eh.

Regardless, I hope he's getting done whatever he needs to get done.

Strong rumours I'm hearing are that he has been caught dealing drugs pre Xmas and is very unlikely going to play with the Dogs ever again.
Makes sense why he was hanging out with Clayton Oliver then, given Joel Smith is out of the picture.

Good news for Dees fans I suppose, Oliver was sober last year and he sucked.
JUH to replace Smith would be great for us.

Bit of a perc angle type performance!

And still picked him for the final?
Yeah can’t blame them for not knowing he took off.

But if a player skips town in the week before the most important game of the year, doesn’t tell anyone, and misses training on his way home… starting him on the bench isn’t even close to enough punishment.

Allowing him to play that final given those circumstances sends a shocking message to the entire group, not just JUH
