Jumper Numbers

Afternoon all.

I have started collecting a history of Dockers' jumper numbers, that I hope to eventually put together on Wikipedia. The majority of the info i am sourcing from http://stats.rleague.com/afl/stats/players/ - along with the bits and pieces that I already know.

My questions are:
-has anyone already done this, so am I wasting my time?
-stats.rleague.com has Anthony "AJ" Jones down as wearing 38 from 95-98, then switching to 5 until 2003. I thought he wore 52 (then 5). Did he ever wear 38?

Once I get it all a bit closer to completion, I'll put it up on wikipedia for all to mess about with.

31 according to both my memory and http://stats.rleague.com/afl/stats/players/S/Simon_Eastaugh.html. Stretching it out for the big fella who rocked up in '03.

I think 38 is right to the best of my recollection (AJ definately wore something-eight). I don't think we've ever had anyone wear 50+ numbers? (Although I might be wrong)

38 sounds right to me too (probably doesn't mean much to you since I'm an Eagles fan).

Did Koops wear 51 or was that just at the Bulldogs?

Koops wore 28 for us.

If you pick Fremantle on finalsiren.com and go back through each season, it has a listing of the players and their jumper numbers.

Thanks nez (and others). Looks like 52 on AJ's back must have just been a very strange dream I had once...

finalsiren looks like it's got all the data. should be easy to put it into a table on wikipedia where we can see the history of each number and ponder questions like:
-what's with 32 and being delisted and being captain?
-what's with 6 and has Solly beaten the curse?
