Yeah I wanted glass as assistant for next year regardless of what’s happened now

can't see him leaving Hawthorn after only 2y of having been an assistant coach. Would be a seriously bad decision and he didn't get a job with BCG making bad decisions.

And I bet you didn’t think Teague or Shaw we’re head coach candidates 3 months ago either.

They could definitely come back to be a well paid assistant in their home state. Also, if they take Freo to finals or in some fairytail, a premiership, they'll have clubs lining up for their sig as a head coach

It's why I like Yze - he's credited with increasing Hawthorn's goal kicking accuracy as their goalkicking coach and is now head of strategy and opposition analysis. He'd be on my assistants dream team

Will it matter if the club spends a bit more? If they think the coach change will bring in more memberships then a good season (even if it's natural progression and fit players) then the members are retained or grow.
