If he was the worst player we definitely shouldn't have gone near him. Mb get into the Bont instead next time? And all the junk talk from Kane Cornes about Freo's focus on Lobb.
Nowhere does he find it relevant to mention that Lobb was rated the Bulldogs worst player onfield according to the AFL Player Ratings.
... never let the facts get in the way of a good story.

I think the point that the Freo bashers want us to ignore is that the Lobb attention actually worked and resulted in Lobb having a shocker. If he was the worst player we definitely shouldn't have gone near him. Mb get into the Bont instead next time?
Compete, spoil and run off yourI’m not sure Luke Jackson dropping marks in the back half is the answer guys…
I think that's an options 4 years down the track if he really doesnt progress but we legit need him in the midfield and forward of centre - he's probably had more shots on goal than any of our players and definitely the most of our talls. Pearce (and backline) is playing horribly but you just need to back them to figure it out. Moving back now wouldnt solve anything apart from for maybe one or two games.Compete, spoil and run off your
man on the spread.
Only propose this as our backs have been awful in the contested stuff and lack spring in their step.
No flipping way, we paid too much to move him there. I would consider moving Treacy down back but only if we give him a solid chance at the CHF role.Compete, spoil and run off your
man on the spread.

I imagine instead of pushing and shoving Lobb in that situation they would all be expected to either defend a zone or a player?I agree with that, but how does any of that have anything to do with the Lobb attention.
Treloars goal, like so many other Bulldog goals on the night, showed up our issues with our midfield and their problems with contested footy and ground ball gets.
Amiss? We should be pumping games into him like there is no tomorrow. We need wingers. Hughes is doing an ok job in the circumstances but Aish has been well below his best.
I think Chapman & Nod are probably it going forward.
For now we need Wilson or Hughes plus Aish back in defense, maybe Clark & or Young up on the wings, Nod if he’s ready.
We need run, carry & most of all; dare & attack.
And Erasmus must play.
Corbett stays, Johnson stays, Sturt stays.
I think Tabs going down all but guarantees he plays if fit.Amiss? We should be pumping games into him like there is no tomorrow.

JL needs to pee and Moose won’t tell him where the dunnies are.
Imagine if we snagged John Longmire!
Would Bell be forgiven on here if he got his old Premiership teammate here?
I like Bucks and I think he can coach but, dude is also defensive. Maybe he'll open up 2nd time round but not sure we could all handle another defensive coach (unless he wins lots of games right from the start).I wouldn’t be averse to getting Buckley in if we’re talking replacement options, my opinion of him has dramatically changed for the better since he’s been in the media. I think he’d suit for a lot of reasons:
I reckon he’s watched the Pies intently the last year and now very much aware that fast ball movement is the key.
I think he’d be quite a respected / authoritative figure to our younger team - And to Bell, certainly not Peters “Bell Boy”!
He’s well and truely entrenched in the VFL Boys Club so our media focus and AFL storyline would be vastly different- just watch how different our umpiring will be!
And no doubt he’s still got that burning desire to break his AFL premiership drought …
Just spitballing but if we do replace Jlo I’d hope we at least ask the question.

Yah, I echo your confidence. I think he's got it.Treacy is a goal kicking forward, I guarantee it.
With Taberener out of the team he is a completely different player.
If we are gunna persist with bombing it into the F50 to 3 on 1s, might as well have a big bodied, pack crasher to either take a big mark or bring it to ground.
Trust me, Treacy is the answer.
In a way yes....Amiss? We should be pumping games into him like there is no tomorrow.
I would have thought Sturt would be the extra in the middle, but I like Raz too so squeeze him in there as well.I agree with Treacey. I think he has the perfect attributes to compliment Amiss'. Once they have time to gel etc and we surround them with a couple of great smalls, I'm not worried about the forward line.
We do need something extra in the middle though. Is that Erasmus?

The Saints are still defensive beasts. Comfortably the best defense and a decent attack. Not sure Lyon has changed at all tbh.Yeah for sure, was super defensive previously but you’d hope he’s also watching Lyon become more attacking and would do the same if he got another crack

Both have baggage but Pyke's team was better to watch (as is Sydney now).Bucks or Pyke if you had to choose?
