CEO would be a kind of a promotion from head coach you would think and it’s high paying.

People have gone from head of football to coach. (Fagan)

Nobody has gone from coach to CEO. This would be a power move.

CEO>Head of Football>Coach

Not sure if this has been mentioned as I haven't been able to go through this thread entirely and I'm keen to find out if anyone else has heard the same rumour.

I was neither pro nor anti-Lyon and I was happy for him see out his contract. Take this with a lump of salt and I scoffed at it when I heard it but I find it more interesting now after the Lyon sacking.

I heard half way through this season from someone that has nailed a few things at FFC before the news broke that Schofield may have been guided towards getting some experience at another AFL club with the intention to come to Freo before long to take up a role there.

Whether in an assistant role or higher I'm not sure but I'm intrigued to see where it ends up. Also, it's hard to know how good a coach is at Subi as it seems anyone can win a flag there...

We are deeply upset that we have lost our top spot at manufactured nonsense but in our view we never lost it.
To put this argument to bed we will quickly proceed a spot segment of pro flat earth propaganda.

Totally off topic but that flat earth "leader", Mark or whatever his name is appeared in a betting ad. I know gambling is far from the most honourable industry and it was clearly taking the ****, but they really shouldn't encourage flat ****ing earth. It's not funny enough (at all IMO) to overcome the possibility of actively converting some new idiot into believing it.

This whole Clarkson thing is one big troll but i’ll have a bite here.

Clarkson once his name has been spotted on the Royal something golf club membership list would possibly come for head of football or Director of Coaching. He has absolutely bugger all experience in business as a CEO.

Some were saying (and I actually agree) that Bell should not be promoted to CEO without serving a relevant apprenticeship.

Clarkson as coach is the best in the business. Don’t remember him running a club or company as General Manager or in operations.

Has she got anything to do with Freo? Even sniffed a latte on South Tce? The media are telling us only Freo related people are in the mix:
James Clement and Peter Bell for CEO
Longmuir, Sumich, Solomon, Carr & Schofield for coach

Carr is coaching North Adelaide in the SANFL while Schofield worked at Port Adelaide this season after a dominant period with Subiaco.
