Kangaroos fans booing Braun

So it didn't happen??? It bloody well did, not as much as cousins copped but it happened.

I bet they also did not mention the two roos supporters in front of me making racist comments towards david wirrapanda in the final quarter either.

Would you like me to tell you exactly what they said to him ???
Or would I just be making that up aswell.

Just cause you didn't see/here something on TV sunshine doesn't mean it didn't happen.

While you weren't at the game you will go along with the majority, FFS you are an idiot.

How dare you come on here and tell me I am bull shitting, you were not even there. Every time Braun touched the pill in the first quarter there was boos, about a quarter the strength of the ones cousins received but they were boos none the less.

I saw the people booing with my own eyes, don't sit there and type, well I wasn't there but it didn't happen.

Ok so we are stereotyping here. They were two of the most racist, ignorant, arrogant vile humans beings who followed West Coast who obviously are a reflection of the entire supporter base... oh wait.

A very very small minority of supporters booed Braun (who are complete morons) and you decide to make a thread about it. You are pathetic. Grow up .

Don't worry about a few idiots who want to boo. It seems an increasing part of our game where abusing the op is more important than cheering your own side. I think its pathetic..
What is more important is that it was a brilliant game. Both sides attack on the ball was the best ive seen this season.

Re: Some Kangaroos fans booing Braun

I would not have believed it had I not been there and heard it with my own two ears.

one word for it, pathetic.

EDIT ---- just to make it perfectly clear, it was not all the kangaroos fans, but enough to hear it.

such a sensitive flower in a cold, cruel world.

i can imagine dinner at an Eagles supporting household.

How could those feral Roo supporters boo our Brauny???...... you're only supposed to boo players who do rough tackles and stuff on our premiership heroes

Okay, you got unlucky and found yourself seated amongst Aker's extended family I guess

I bet they also did not mention the two roos supporters in front of me making racist comments towards david wirrapanda in the final quarter either.

And a couple of others, wearing white sheets and hoods. Any burning crosses there as well ?

Maybe you really have to organise your seating arrangements a bit better ?

Well, I could go along with the minority, which is you, but I'll go for the majority. Call me democratic, but hey ?

How dare you come on here and tell me I am bull- shitting ?

I'm as daring-daring-do as you, who created a total BS thread slagging off Roos supporters in general, when there is absolutely no evidence that your experience (real or imagined) had any connection with reality.

That was a damned good game (Laidley said it was one of the best he's seen or been part of). You cheapened it.

as opposed to freo supporters who boo players who have been accused by halfwits without evidence and cheer players that hit other players from behind :thumbsu:

Lordy we're a bit precious arnt we. Since when was it the right thing to do at the footy to just sit there and shutup ?

Afterall Braun is an accused drug cheat...history shows most drug accusations in prefessional sports are warranted so there's just as much chance that its true as not true.....nothing is proven either way and based on the culture at the weagles its not surprising many would think booing the bloke is a bit of good fun that should be expected.

I'm not sure why some precious darlings would think giving an opposition player some lip or booing him is a bad thing ?...its perfectly normal and in this case perfectly acceptable surely.

Some might wish to clamber for a moral highground but its the footy...boo anyone as much as u like :thumbsu:

Its almost as tho a few of the moralistic crusader type weagles fans think everyone should be convinced the bloke DIDNT actually take EPO rather than it simply being an open accusation...there's every chance he did for all we know.

Booo whoever u damn well like...make it as loud as u feel like...and dont bother yaselves with the rants of wowsers and moralistic fun nazi's.

Some West Coast supporters on BF really are pathetic, searching for something to whinge about, searching for the moral high ground on any issue, searching for any comment, topic, subject to make it an us against the AFL issue, hoping all the time should they win the GF they can say we "had to fight all the odds", maybe they're struggling to come to terms with Geelong being the "glamour" team this year and Ablett being the "No. 1" player.

Get over it, opposition fans generally only like teams that aren't a threat or an underdog, or in Geelongs case a team that has been starved of success.
WC fit neither of these categories.

ffs have a big cry why don't you. Sure every supporter has its own idiots but you sound like a bigger moron whinging about others having a whinge.

Come on, your criticising him for telling the truth, and expressing his opinions. Lets face it, what he said is justified. Parents want what's best for the children, and he was just saying, that he wouldn't want his son exposed to a team, where a drug culture is clearly prevelent. It takes a few bad eggs to ruin someones life, and Archer was merely suggesting that he wouldn't want his son exposed to that culture. I wouldn't, and most here wouldn't be too pleased with their son exposed to such a culture.
.

regardless of the merits of the argument - supporters defend their clubs and let people who attack their club know it!

which is why he was booed - has never been booed before - and won't again!

typical norf response - "arch is a champion, you can't boo him"

what a load of rubbish

carey and buckley have been booed for years

so lets get this straight. someone complaining about one of his teams players getting booed? OMG! We should stop the competition now!!

Thing is if the shoe was on the other foot do you think eagles fans would be forgiving? If a freo player was alleged to have used drugs youd be the first to throw things at him!

So true.

As someone who has watched on TV many WC games played in Perth over the years mostly as a neutral, i find it a tad ironic that their supporters are a bit "miffed" over some booing considering what they dish out to opposing teams/supporters the year in and year out. If you can dish it out you should be able to take it.

I can't be ****ed reading this thread - but no-one booed Braun.
Cousins got booed (which is annoying as well - Vctorians are better than West Australians, leave the the booing to them) but Braun didn't get booed.

The thread starter is lying.

Was at the game

Will accept that the Roos supporters booed Cousins and the umpires but will NOT accept that they booed Michael Braun - was waiting for it and was actually pleased when it DIDN'T happen!!!

Just a straight out made up rubbish accusation!

Cheers

Re: Some Kangaroos fans booing Braun

Bang on.

Cousins copped a bit, but most of the abuse being vented over the fence was directed at the 3 corrupt fcuks in red with the whistles.

Didn't see or hear anything directed at Braun.

and the fox commentators - don't get me started on durwayne - as a friend of mine once said "in my youth i would have fcuking shot the c###" and that goes for the umpys as well.

I was at the game and Braun was definitely not booed. I went just waiting for it to happen, I'd even styled a suitably digusted yet passive sneer for my face when the moment came, but happily it didn't.

Cousins was booed, and Lynch of course, and Hunter, Kerr, the umpires . . . infact, thinking back, Braun was the only person not in bluenwhite that wasn't booed.

WCE had 3 players booed against the Kangroos. Ben Cousins, Quinten Lynch and Michael Braun.

Cousins is going to get booed in every game he plays which is far enough. Lynch got booed cause he was reported. Braun got booed because Jason Akermanis has a big mouth and is a moron.

I thought it was bad form for Braun to get booed. Especially after the interview he did on the Footy Show.

Are you deaf?? I was in the coaches box and I heard it. Didn't hear Hunter or Kerr get booed.

Are you sure you were at the game??

The Kangaroos players following the match, went to Braun in particular, to acknowledge him, and I am sure the crowd understood how he must have been feeling.[/quote]
All class!
I wasn't aware of any booing
Every club has a few morons, us more than most!!
