Couple of great courageous plays by Logan this quarter.

Kane...quick snap out of a pack in the square....behind.

P 5.6
K 6.8

TROY CHAPLIN YOU ####ING SUPERSTAR! Terrible kick by Carlile...ended up with Campbell running from 50 into an open goal, two bounces, somehow Chaplin comes from nowhere and lays a tackle on Campbell as he kicks the ball at the top of the square and forces him to miss. From the square.

1/2 time

K 6.10 46

Best:
P: Rodan, Logan, Pearce, Kornes, Lower
K: Pratt, Ross, Simpson, Harris, Hansen, Petrie, Mcmahon

Terrible quarter of football by both teams. Mistakes galore. So much for the new gameplan. Lasted 20 minutes. Reverted back to our mistake riddled short game for much of that quarter.

Only 9 points behind...could be a lot worse but geez our forward line lacks presence tonight. Eberts probably been the best of the forwards and hes had a passable game at best. Tredreas first touch came 20 minutes into that quarter, Hoff has had a couple of touches but been well beaten as well. Motlop nowhere to be seen that quarter. If we dont bring in a tall to play against the Crows then we are taking the piss.

Rodan been BOG. Great game. Logan really stood up that quarter with some great individual efforts. Pearce slowed down a bit but had a really pleasing half. Cassisi still good on Harvey. Kane a much better quarter. Lower playing reasonably well across half back as well.

Its just skills letting us down and some slack marking defensive side of centre. Our skills really are deplorable. Not a good spectacle of footy.

I'd squeeze CHAPLIN into the best players at 1/2 time.
LOGAN very impressive:thumbsu:
BENTLEY looks a bit more like an Afl player tonight

Apparently theres a pretty hefty breeze going to the southern end, so we might have to kick 4-5 goals this quarter and get a bit of a lead up if we are going to win.

Best:
P: Rodan, Brogan, Ebert, Chaplin, Kane
K: Pratt, Simpson, Harris, Harvey, Petrie

Tight quarter. The game really got shaken up that quarter. Lots of great efforts from both sides and suddenly it turned into a decent game. Not sure if weve done enough to get the win but we'll find out. Brogan has had a great game in the ruck...has fed our players non stop. Ebert really stood up that quarter, despite his mental moment. Chaplin continued to play well, Kane playing well as well. Surjan a great individual effort to save a goal. Cassisi let Harvey get away that quarter. They could have put the game beyond us early that quarter but missed a couple of chances.

We need a huge lift from Chad, Tredrea and Hoff if we are gonna win this game. Couple up at home. Been here before. Lets see how badly we want to win.

I reckon if we can win it from here it will give the younger players some great confidence of being able to hold onto a lead - which will be very important with a showdown coming up next week.
