I think the Roos are primed for a big year. Did well to reach the Prelims last season after finishing outside the top 4 in the home and away. Many were tipping them to get the double chance in 2014, this time around I get the feel the Kangas are going to have a big run. History shows at least 1 side that finished in the 4 the year before will drop out, Kangas look the best candidate to replace them.

Some good talent there to go with experience. I Like the look of North. Expecting more consistency from these crop of players who have a good base and are starting to form some familiarity

On the other hand, I'm not at all surprised that a Port supporter would post this.

I think Port are in for serious second year blues. There talls are a major weakness.

Ben Brown is way better than Butcher.

I hope not, it's been nice seeing a team struggle as hard as they did rise as high as they did.
struggling? They have played in two GFs the past decade and numerous prelims. There are a lot of teams who have struggled a lot more than they have. Your club for one.

As someone else said, teams don't fear North

From 07-11 teams feared the cats, and could be ahead at 3/4 time, but would psyche themselves out of a win, and more recently it's been like that with the swans (for whatever reason, it hasn't been like that for the Hawks)

Of the other teams, I think it'll be port who begin being the feared team

"Oh what's this a thread about North Melbourne/Richmond/The AFL/Footy Media/The tense political climate in North Sweeden? I think I'll write an irrelevant post about Port."

Their list is on par if not worse than a few teams outside the top 6 IMO.

I don't see how they can make the top 4 and could struggle to make the 8

Funny everyone is wanking over Port so much.
They have just as much to prove as North IMO.

Yeah, nah.

After surprising everyone by making the finals and rolling the Pies in 2013, Port backed it up and narrowly missed the top 4 in 2014.

They spanked Richmond, rolled Freo in Perth then came within a whisker of knocking off Hawthorn.

My lasting memory of North from 2014 is getting pantsed by Sydney in their PF. Just like they got pantsed in their last finals appearance two years earlier.
