Can anyone confirm that Brendan Vanderdonk has been appointed coach of Lancaster..?

Dual premiership coach at Tatura reserves and club legend at Rushworth, would make a good job of it.

And Hank, you may want to talk to your cousin about Stanhope's chances of landing percy, think he's trying to outbid you!
 
Not sure if has been posted but Dylan Sidebottom from Tally to Katandra as an A/C? Anyone heard anything about this?

Haha, yeah Percy mentioned about a month ago that the barrell had been onto him, not sure he is very keen on the metro footy scene;). Be surprised if he doesn't stay at the Cats.

Haven't heard this one. You would assume that he would be bringing a couple of his premiership players with him if true. Have heard that a few of the Tat 2's premiership players are heading to Merrigum which is good news for them if true.

Great bunch of blokes by the way. And their parents all came up each week also and fitted in beautifully with all the locals. In fact a few of the parents even came up for our Thursday night meals and were amazed to see a consistent local crowd of around 150 enjoying our Thurday night cuisine.

Personally I was rapt to have them on board and I know all the local players and supporters were just as pleased.

We have our presentation night next friday and all the Melbourne boys and their families will be present so perhaps that bloke was only hoping they were going to sign with Mernda.

We aim to go a couple of steps further in 2012 and to erase the shame and dissappointment of going out in straight sets.

This sounds interesting as quite a few of the Melbourne boys and Lamaro were watching a few ex Mernda players run around in the reserves GF for Bundoora a few weeks back. But seem to disappear once the main game started.

Yeah dont know about the Perc Roberts one T.Perry, Pretty sure his having another tilt with the cats in 2012, but I no Perry Mekka is trying everything to get the 3 Yze Brothers out to Ardmona, surly they wouldnt be silly enough!

Thought Lancaster already had their coach appointed, could be wrong though. You didnt mean Merrigum for vanderdonk did you Tav??
The Yzes to Ardy, you wouldnt think, but 2 of them have played there before. Would be 3 handy inclusions

Couldn't see the Yze boys heading out here, would expect them to stay at GV level for another year or at least in a higher league, but who knows? Stranger things have happened and Perry is involved :eek:

No the rumour is Donk to Lanky, but need Lanky ppl to confirm as I have no idea how it has gained legs. Does Burners not want to do it again, I know he only did this season as Brunt pulled out.
Donk does want to coach KDL seniors, but as far as I'm aware he hasn't got the job at the Gum. Some players and a new senior coach for Merrigum announced next week. '08-'10 coach Geoff Connally also to stay and run around as player is a huge plus:thumbsu:, effectively a new recruit after 2 seasons ruined by knee injuries. Only way to go is up! Watch this space.. haha.

Oh and Joey spot on about KDL granny, I've been dead set against it from the start, so I'm clearly biased when anything goes wrong at the GF. The worst thing is that Mooroopna FC benefit so much from it. It should be shared between our best few venues, with various clubs running canteen, BBQ and Bars. As the Murray League do, hosted at Toc but other clubs run catering, so that more clubs benefit from the Grand Final. I know the venue of GVL clubs are superior but the clubs, not Mooroopna need to run the show.

Burners said he didn't want to coach but would continue at the club in a playing capacity. Pretty sure he said he'll take the coaching role if like this year there is nobody to take the position.

the only rumours I have heard is Scotty Mac from Undera to nathalia, Tony Mcdonnell to coach Lancaster and heath Barnett his assistant. if they can outbid Nathalia i suppose
 
What about Christian Barnett to Coach Merrigum, would obviously mean a few from the Tat twos would head out there and you'd expect them to be not that far away from finals if so.

Hmmm that would be a beauty if that's the go hank. Can't confirm that though. There are Tat boys on the way though thats for sure, and of course Pelly and a couple of others from Ky, Ex Gum players to return etc. No no names!

Haven't sighted mine since he made a smother and sensational right foot snap on the first Saturday of October 2010. Maybe time for a name change if he doesn't come back to me next year?
