I believe it's Girgarre - 1991. Avenel's last flag was 1994.

I'd say they would be recruiting Ky u/18s to play lancy 1s.. Think the bats mite slide out of the 6 this year..

I heard he pulled out of his clubs finals this year cause they don't pay players during finals? (as do nearly every club)

Good to see its not about the coin and all about the club he plays for......................Based on those strong recommendations do you really need a 34 year old on 1 leg with no agility and sticking out his hand for dollars to play on the pretence he might not show when you really want him in finals?
At some point you either retire or play for free don't you? The blokes he played against at BL Serp last year from QLD are older and alot better than he was last year. In fact they actually looked fit..................
Got to love the silly season.
Balraj Singh will still go handy enough if he pops up in the KDL Id be surprised if he didn't kick more than 80 if he spent a year in front of the sticks. Someone will take him if he is available and they can afford him despite his rep as its not easy to recruit.
I also heard Tally are in talks with a key forward and they could be on the cusp on picking up quite a few players that would give them a chance of playing in their first finals series for quite a while. How long would it be since Tally have played finals? When Osborne was out there Coaching?

He kicked a grand total of 18 goals in the Loddon Valley FL season just gone. He was well past it 5 years ago.
I would hope any remuneration would be performance-based.
