On the kdfl site it says he has put in for a clearance and it is currently still pending spy.

Gee, Undera have been busy in the off season, 15 newbies heading there way. Would definitely start as favourites to go back to back again you'd think?? Will there be many missing a game in the 2's each week?

Lancaster and Girgarre seemed to have gained quite a few as well....

And Murchison and Stanhope seemed to have lost more than they've gained....

The Mainland hav lost 8 players from last count and only one of them is a Big Loss (Smear) the rest just make up the numbers, dont take that to heart Skutty:D... haha

Not sure he has played in the KDFL for a year or 2. He was at Nagambie and maybe Avenel for a bit in the 2nds. He had it in his head that he as a tad better than what his ability.

Training was always a bit of a problem for him and I think he may have jumped ship when times were a bit hard a Avenel.

Please tell me that he is not asking for $$$

Is he still in the area because he must be because i just heard that he wants to play for longwood this year dont know if hes asking for money though i will investigate.;)

Im fine with that, I know my best is long gone. And the 8 from Echuca way 4 or 5 will play ones Id say and they r all more than capable. Matt Martin is more than enough to replace ur goodself.

I wouldn't have a clue there to be honest with you Arny Schwarzenegger, i've never seen him play. Was told he played down back at his last club so will be interesting to see how he goes up forward. We have Stanhope first up so i guess it won't be too long and we will find out what he is like.

Is that the Benalla district side?? Says on GV thread that Benalla (GV side) played corowa-Rutherglen on the weekend?

Any news to come out of the game Mooroopna man?

G'Day Tav,

It was a really good to watch high standard game. We got out to a 4 goal lead at one stage but they fought back and were a goal in front with 5 minutes to go and then we kicked a goal and a few points in the last few minutes.

Both sides had plenty out, so I wouldn't read too much into it. They had about 7 or 8 of their good senior players in, including Stevo and their captain Shane McKeon?. The rest was made of really good kids they expect to play seniors most of the year. The side that played us didn't play the day before. It was played in good spirit and gave both sides a fast running hit out with 16 a side.

between papin and the roo there was 42 and 60 odd goals kicked respectively martin might be good but he is not that good 100 goals is a big start so you must be thinking of smashing them first round besides you playing 2nds or 1sts

I wouldn't go as far to say as we think we can smash them but yes we are confident of a victory first up. We have recruited well in the off season but apparently so has Stanhope so we will wait and see how the two teams compare. Pappin was Stanhopes best last year and to lose him i believe is a massive blow, not so sure about Norman however. As you mentioned he kicked 60 goals, but I don't believe he kicked them against the good sides and time will tell whether Martin can. As for me i have been running around in the ones for abit now mate

Played full back at Echuca, since playing at LBU I would say he has played more games forward than back. Who else is heading out that way? The whole OPT crew? Think Pepsi is a big loss for Stanhope.

any word on bottom 2 sides will avenel and gigaree improve. they were pretty ordinary last season

Not sure on Avenel but i expect Gig to improve abit. Have a mate over there that is confident of a much better year than the previous one. Recruited pretty well over summer, how much of a difference these recruits make we will wait and see

Only caught the end of the praccy match against Picola on Saturday, but what I did see the roos looked ok and should win a few more this year.

Avenel were very hard hit by injuries all year round. They rolled us and rushy when they were close to full strength and we just missed the finals. So i'm tipping they'll improve a bit.

I reckon this years cellar dwellars will be tally, ardy and longwood
