will be interesting to see if vt back Lee brendans will get the same bloke that took him out midflight in the grandfinal, overall will be for some good viewage

yeah not sure ay, it was a pretty dirty act, watched the dvd a few times, and there was all dirt in that hit, but yeah who know's what will happen!!
will be a great game to watch.

Stanhope should only go into the match without Braeden Stokes and possibly O'Reilly.

Yes it will be interesting to see how this match unfolds. Just about everywhere you look there will be vital matchups but the match will be completely different to last years with both sides injecting more young talent after other players leaving due to age restrictions. I'll sit on the fence here saying "I cannot tip a winner".

Me tips for this week fellas...

Murch Vs Nagambie Not too much to say here, but Murch will try and gain some respect, and hit the ground running, but still naggaz by 100.

Tally vs Merrigum If mez happen to get a team together, it will be a flogging, Tally by 100.

Stanhope vs Violet Town Will be a great contest, Stanhope seem to be the pace setter again this yr, although Vt have a never-say-die attititude towards their footy, I understand that there will be a few out for VT, but none they less would be good to watch. Just tipping Stanhope by around 30.. jst too run out the game better

Avenel vs Undera This is also a defining match of the season for these two teams, Undera should figure in september action and so should Avenel very even sides, will go down to the wire, but if Undera can shut down the likes of Wheeler and Fulco, that will go a long way towards winning. Undera by 8 points.

Lanky vs Rushworth Another contest that will be great to watch. I tihnk Lancaster rely on the guys like Shellie, HUnter and Wade to wn the pill, and Rushy have more depth than the wombats, With Damo, the Clarkes and the chilly bruthas, Rushy will be too strong in the second half. Tigers by 32 points.

Thats my 2 cents worth!

Our line up is still missing alot of keys with blokes missing to school footy and with both ruckmen out with ankles and with fulco going over on his ankle at training we may be missing him as well so it doesn't look good but we are still a good chance

Tally vs Merr - Herd the Gum have good numbers and a few permit players, The Gum by 6 points.
Stan vs VT - Stanhope to win easy by 60 points. Interesting to see who will play on FLOTE and OREILLY.
Ave vs Und - Undera too strong for Avenel who lack a little depth. Undera by 7 goals.
Lan vs Rush - At home we should win by 1 point. Damon will be a danger for us and they have a lot of depth.

60 points... bit harsh did our old mate oxxy tell you to say that haha. O' Reilly apparently in the seniors, i guess that'd be good for you wadey chance to overtake him unless rushy have somethin to say about that.

NAG - Killing 140
TALLY - 65
STANHOPE - 20 - Interseting to note that the Stanhope boys have kept quiet this week (probably coaches instructions) my other tips will be excuses if they lose and if they win they'll wanna get stuck into the lions boys
AVENAL - 12 - I still think they will win even with any injuries
RUSHY - 35 Rushworth too good and this will be a test to see where lancy are as they haven't really played many good quality opposition.

haha, sorry boys havent been on here fora while, should be a good game between Stanhope V.T, Same With The Lanky Rushy and Avenel Undera Games

yep your right, Big Al has kept his spot up in the ones, but he is still going to play the thirds game, maybe not 100% but a fair bit of it i'd say, will be a good game anyways
 
stanhope gave vt a big of a touch up today, bout 11 goals i think. big al kicked a lazy 5 along with jye patten 4. joss gentle was good through-out the game picking up touches at will. patto didnt have as big of an impact but still managed to kick 2. james fraser was unstopable at half back, along witht he entire stanhope backline which shut down the towners. the rivalry was good though and stanhope got a little bit of revenge back on the towners fro last year. although robinson, very selly act doing the "mark williams, choke" after he kicked a goal. pretty silly when they were already up by 10 goals but look forward to next time. stanhope are definatly the bench mark this year and its gunna take some hard work for anyone to catch them on a bad day.
