my thoughts:

congupna- preimers in there league last year, not sure if there better or worse this seaosn, but should be a condender in the night series.

stanhope- runners up last year, have lost a few, gained a few, with there recruits will be looking for a good start to there season, depending on fitness levels of all players, should be a good team.

nagambie- whispers say there shaping up for a good season, the night series will be a good indicator for us other teams.

gig- haha

tatura- will be a force if it there thirds team, should also be a contender. intersting to see if the fraser boys line up against each other.

Ah, ladders will decide the grand finalists, obviously the finalists will need to win both games to progress. Winning side receives $1000…good footy trip money and Runner-up receives a nice little $500, that is for both divisions.

And also for both divisions there will be an award for the Player of the Series trophy, they’ll probs get a bit of coin too

Netballers also there boys, shall be good!

Cheers

UNDERA-Campbell and Renouf have left Undera. Both had one more season left. Brenton Campbell is off to Maroopna and Dwight Renouf has been told to bugger off (In the nicest way possible). Both were very handy players for Undera but they have recruited well to cover there losses. Have picked up players from Rushy, Tatura and Maroopna.

Being an Undera player myself, i have an understanding of what is happening at the club. so lets ask questions before we go shooting off about transfers ey? firstly, brenton campbell (bc) is happy at the club and has worked around his A grade cricket commitments to attend several training sessions.

Renouf, has not been asked to leave the club at all. if it were up to us, we would have him back. Due to family issues he has moved to QLD.

A hint on seeing whose going where, on the KDFL website, there is a transfers list of players applying to go to clubs. just lending a hint out as many people would be interested in these transfers and they are more reliable then chinese whispers.

cheers
i dnt no what this stuff is about BC goin to Maroopna .. had a talk to him on the weekend and he told me he is just traning there... he told me he is goin back out to undera to play.... he would play 1s out there this year anyone...

dos any1 now now rushy are going?

rushy thirds will probably be short, seniors will be struggling for numbers and thirds will have to fill spots.. but have some good players in todd clarke and shaun damon etc.

not a bad team, no premiership side though

I'm not so sure about that Big Tony! Have a mate who went to V.E.T with Nat and apparently he isn't too good at all. Haven't seen anything of him for a couple of years myself but going by my mates word he is a long way off the pace! Of course he could be wrong, or Nat could have improved his game since i saw him last, but from what i hear he is no chance. Your thoughts on this Big Tony?

Who else are big threats for winning the goalkicking this year?

Rhys & Rory Taylor on the training track for VT tonight both looking like having big seasons. Biddle again his usual S@!T self any teams looking for a trade or some big bodies around the packs seems like he could be a trade possibly. Any Takers?

Just wanted to get peoples thoughts on last years results. Looking at some teams lists i was just wondering whether people thought that certain teams over achieved during the year and if they made finals, went further than what they should have. Other teams also might not have gone as far as what they thought they could have. Obviously injuries and such to key players in each team would have meant they didnt quite go as good as what they thought they could have, but that is part of footy. What are your thoughts on how your team, along with others faired throughout the 2007 season?

Not sure about the goal kicking prowess of this league? Who's likely to be at the top of the leader board?

Brad Robinson, a small crumbing forward from stanhope, has good accuracy, got great skills, lacks in physical presence but makes up for it with his goal sneeking ability.

Brenton Campbell, kicked over 100 goals last year, has amazing potential, can run with the ball all day or play up forward and kick goals, my personal tip for the goal kicking this year with Brad Robinson runner up.

you were going good untill you included gigarre, impossible 4 gig, just not enough fire power coming outta there. no darwin boys in the thirds.

undera will be a quit achiever in 2008..

my predictions

Violet Town Versus Stanhope GF

Undera, Avenal, Nagambie, Lancaster Unlucky.

League Best And Fairest- Ryan Patten

Goals- Brenton Campbell

Milky ive heard from a pretty handy source that rushy thirds will have more than enough players, they've got a pretty handy side this year with tommy clarke coming back to the line up, also a shepp bears player is coming over to play for rushy because he cant train with the bears because of work commitments, also may be a few more on the way, so i rekon rushy will be a fairly competitive team this year. the seniors should just be able to scrape a team together.

maybe so, i go to school with the rushy boys, have just learn that anouther thirds players has left to play at undera, been told that every week upto 6 thirds will be playing seniors and 3-4 playing both, so 2 games of footy will take its toll.

tommy clarke may play a few games but my bet is he will play seniors mostly, same with shaun damon, but i hope they get all 3 teams together its good for the competetion
