Hird was first choice, but ruled himself out as he wants too much cash.

There's no reason he couldn't handle four clubs. He should pick up Poort's coaching job as well. That would make it one club in each state.

I reckon if he drafted Miller and Newton (possibly not old enough but certtainly spuddish) and a few others he could get all those teams into the top4.

Would be great seeing him coach against himself in the Granny.
