Overs? You're kidding. Who the hell were you going to pick up with 44? Whoever it was, there's a pretty good chance they will still be there at 61

I tend to agree with that. The only rationale that we paid overs is we already have an abundance of inside mids, but that shouldn't detract from Koby's quality as a player.

thats a massive bargain, mate, forced on the eagles by the fact that he is prepared to walk

he wont ever be an all australian but he will play a heap of footy for the dogs, and some very good stuff too, something pick 44 is very unlikely to do.

Yes we will. We have a lot of spots on our list to fill.

It's a decent deal. I never went that much on Stevens, but he'll play a fair bit of footy for the Dogs I suspect. Always admired his endeavour, but his combination of underwhelming disposal by foot and lack of pace always left me sceptical about his future at AFL level. It was a pretty average draft pick by us in hindsight.
