It's fine for you to say overhyped, not that good, injury cloud, best and fairest means everything... but only if you want to put a dollar number that reflects all these words. If that dollar number is $3,600,000+ over 4 years... then your argument starts to ya know kinda stink.

Can you point out the part where I said he's worth $3,600,000 over 4 years? He's not. Sydney shouldn't pay him that, and you shouldn't have overpaid him over the past few years either.

In respect to the AFC's attitude towards Kurt since the defection... all I will say is that post is a very convenient perspective and a good way to swallow the fact you're importing a million dollar baby into the bloods culture, placing him on a pedestal at the expense of those that built the place.

Like the majority of posters on here, I don't really want Kurt at our club. Not at the expense of unsettling the team balance. I'm quite happy for GWS to snap him up, but if they do I don't think you'll find they'll be parting with pick 3. I would have thought pick 13 would be adequate in this situation.

Oh come on, really? Convenient perspective?

Tippett played out his contract. Defection? What a loaded term, and maybe shows a little bias of your own? He wanted to get out of Adelaide. That's it. It's not a defection, if you are unhappy, you move on. It's true of relationships, it's true of jobs, it's true of life in general. Even the big money offered by Adelaide wasn't enough to make him happy there. In your eyes he should ahve stayed, and when he chose not to he's some kind of traitor? Defection... really?

Most clubs, when a player wants out, they do what they can to help that player get to the club of his choice. Adelaide seemed fine with that when it was Bris or GC. But suddenly when it was Sydney, they threw their toys out of the cot, and turned on him. As did their fans.

And don't worry about the culture at Sydney. He'll earn his spot with hard work, and buy-in, or he can walk right out again.

Normally I don't mind that we're a little more lax in this area. It makes for interesting discussions occasionally but in this instance it's getting pretty old. Same old crap for 150 pages.

I think GWS might be just throwing there hat in the ring to join trade. It doesnt automatically mean we are out, as I 'predicted' earlier it could still end up a three or four way trade.

The concern here is that not many of the Adelaide fans understand how the draft works. They are all jumping about because GWS their savior has arrived. And they will magically receive pick 3. They are even working out who they are going to get with it.

If Tippett stands his ground, and why wouldn't he the way the have spoken of him in the last week. Then it's Sydney or the PSD. So if Tippett continues to say no they can't receive a pick from GWS. The only way this can change is it Tippett changes his mind.

Can anyone work out why he would do that whilst Adelaide are slanging off at him on the paper. A major mistake in there negotiation process.

Look GWS coming in will force us to up our offer. But pick 3 it will not be.

The other thing that they are saying is we need to trade with GWS. FFS why would GWS do a deal with us to give us picks that helps us get Tippett when they are supposedly after him. Someone forgot to think that one through.

SOS has played them and I think it will mean that they eventually get him, but that will be through the PSD.

And someone need to tell the crows that PSD = zero picks.

False... I'd say most are jumping about because they now realise there is a real possibility that one way or the the other he could be at GWS next year. Even if it's via the PSD. Compared to what was offered before now this is a big win.

If it's pick 3, the PSD or anything in between... it's miles better than him going to Sydney for pick 22 and god knows what else.
