By my comment I meant that he is rubbish and we are just taking everyone's off cuts if we are looking at him.
Don't trade just for the sake of trading Hawks !
What about Beau Muston to Sydney for their second pick which we on forward to the dogs for Josh Hill?
I'm expecting a mad rush after 12pm and many clubs saying "we couldn't get the paperwork in on time" AGAIN.
Obviously 7 days won't be long enough to get all deals done either

Gold. It would be laughable if he comes to Hawthorn to play in the backline. Or to play anywhere for that matter. Hopefully he's just involved with getting Hill to Hawthorn.

Cheney described as a tenacious defender who played 12 games in 2009 and 2 in 2010.
From North Ballarat U18 taken at pick 53 in 2007 draft and 21 yrs old.

Vey good VFL player; strong overhead for his size and courageous. A straight ahead player. Pretty good skills. Not very creative and a little slow.
Hasn't been disgraced at senior level, but not nimble enough to handle good smalls and too small to handle talls, although he does play taller than his height suggests. Behind Grimes and Joel MacDonald at Melb for a HB spot.

BTW, I know this isn't about Cheney, but on the live HS site that is at Etihad, Matt Windley made this comment;
A supporter asked him the question; Do you think Hale was a good pick up?
Matt Windley replied;
"Great pick-up for them. Imagine David Hale and Roughead up forward then Buddy roaming the wing! Hale is rapt, too. Spoke to him on Friday. He's a lovely man looking forward to a fresh start"
